Song Of The Chapter: Love Figures by Jessie Reyez
After the next concert finished, Harry made his way to the tour buses below the arena. He loved when the buses were outside, so he could talk to the fans and play some soccer. He enjoyed one on one time with everyone. However, Harry had been in a funky mood since the meeting with Simon and Louis.
But ever since the wedding, when hasn't he been in a weird mood?
Harry snuck into one of the tour buses, before the boys or anyone else could find him. He shut off the lights, crawled into bed and laid there without a sound. Harry pulled the blanket all the way up to his chin.
"Why do I feel like this?" He whispered finally. "Why do I feel like I'm the bad guy?"
A tear slipped down his cheek. Harry let them fall, while his heart felt like it was breaking for the millionth time. He couldn't control the tears. He couldn't even handle his emotions. Underneath the blanket his body trembled.
Harry sobbed. "Why do I care so much about everything? That's all I do and get fucked over every single time. All I want is love and I'm looking in all the wrong places- all the wrong people. I'm so fucking stupid."
Back in the arena, the other three boys hung around. They decided that it would be best to wait for everyone to leave, so that way there'd be no big crowds when trying to pull away. Backstage, Liam relaxed on the couch, as did Niall but with his head on Liam's lap. The boy sitting up ran his hair through Ni's hair, and Niall enjoyed it very much. They had always been very close.
However, Louis was on edge and full of anxiety. Everything between Eleanor, Simon, Harry and him had been eating away at the blue eyed boy. Liam noticed the way Louis had been pacing and biting his lip. He knew Louis wasn't okay.
"Hey, man, you good?"
"Fine." Louis snapped.
"Don't be rude-" Niall scolded and began to sit up, but Liam shushed Niall and pushed him back down onto his lap. He raised an eyebrow but all Liam did was shake his head.
Louis stopped and sighed. He looked at the two, "I'm sorry. It's just been a long few weeks. Between the wedding and Ha- concerts. Getting married really stressed me out, you know? El misses me. Wants me to be with her 24/7 now that we're officially married. Wives, am I right?" Louis laughed, but it wasn't genuine at all. He did it in hopes of warding off the boy's suspicions of his emotions.
"That's why I'm not married or have a girlfriend. I have you guys." Niall smiled. "And Liam is a good cuddler, if I ever feel a bit lonely."
"Good for you, Ni, cuddling is always good." Louis let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding in, "I'm going to go find a drink or something, maybe a beer. Let off some steam, you know? You guys want anything?"
Both of the boys on the couch shook their head.
Then, Harry popped into Louis' head and he remembered wanting to talk to him. However, he couldn't be straight up with the other boys, because neither of them knew what happened in the meetings with Simon.
"Oh also, have you guys seen Harry?"
Liam shook his head, "Not since the concert ended. He ran off, kind of looked a bit down. Why, what's up?"
"I can't find one of the shirts I packed," Louis lied straight through his teeth- he really hated lying but he also really had to go check on the curly haired lad, "was going to ask if he'd seen it around."
"Harry left for the buses. That way." Niall half smiled and pointed down the hall.
Louis smiled and said his thanks. "I'll see you guys in a bit. We'll have a drink later, yeah?"
