April 2016
"Hi grandma." I smiled.
"Hi sweetie, what brings you here?"
"Came for a visit." She brought me into the living room sitting down.
"How have you been?" She asked looking me over.
"I've been good, you?"
"Good, keeping myself busy. Still with that one guy?"
"Jason, yea we broke up for a couple of days, now we're back together."
"What happened?" She frowned looking at me worried.
"We got into a fight, and I told him if he left that we were done."
"He left." She seemed surprised.
"Things have gotten better since then."
"Good, I know he is a good guy."
"He is, I'm lucky to have him." There are days I could kill him, but I would kill for him any day.
"Talking to your family?"
"Sophia, a little bit."
"You really should talk to your mom. I know she's really misses you."
"I miss her too, but I don't know. She will want me to come home and I don't want to just yet."
"Maybe she can come here." I shook my head.
"That's not a good idea, I'll call her."
"Ellie." It was the way she said it, that made me pull out my phone and dial my mom's number.
"Hello."
"Mom?" I frowned not hearing my moms voice.
"No, this is Sean."
"Sean!" I haven't talked to my aunt in so long.
"Ellie, hi. How are you?" She seemed surprised.
"I'm good, how are you."
"I'm good. I miss you kiddo, it's not the same around here."
"I miss you guys too."
"Hey your mom wants to talk to you. It was good talking to you. Love you honey."
"Love you too."
"Hi baby." I could tell she was trying not to cry.
"Hi momma."
"You doing okay?"
"Yea, I'm okay. I'm at grandmas right now."
"Good. Gosh I miss you so much."
"I miss you too. I'm going to switch it to face time."
"Okay." My mom's face finally appeared. She looked the same, but a little bit different.
"You look so cute with your hair like that." Since I've been here I've cut my hair short.
"Thank you."
"You have a boyfriend right?"
"I do, Jason is his name."
"How long have you been together?"
"Almost two years."
"Will you send me a picture of you two?"
"Yea."
(McKenna's pov)
Ellie hung up and I started to sob. Arms went around me letting me know Sean was here.
