June 2020 (Colin's three years old)

My little man is turning three today which is crazy. Since today is a Wednesday we were just going to have a family party, then have a party this weekend.

I got up from my bed and made it to his room where he was still curled up. Quietly I made it over to him and curled up to him. I kissed his forehead and he pushed against my forehead.

"Go away momma."

"But it's my baby's third birthday."

"We get cake." He peeked up.

"Later bud."

"Sleep." He buried his head again.

"Fine sleepy head." I kissed his forehead and went down to the kitchen to make his favorite. I finished making breakfast and he still wasn't down here yet. The doorbell went off so I went over and answered the door.

"Where's the birthday boy?" Jason asked.

"Still in bed."

"Let me go get him."

"Breakfast is ready too." Jason walked around me and went to get Colin. In the last couple of months things have gotten a lot better with Jason and I. Since things have been going so good, I decided we were going to tell Colin today that Jason is his daddy. The boys finally came down, with Colin curled up to him.

"Baby I made your favorite." He turned around and climbed out of his arms. I sat on one side of him while Jason sat on the other.

"Buddy, we have something to tell you." He looked at me and looked at Jason.

"Remember when you asked about your daddy."

"Yea."

"Well, Jason is your daddy." He looked at me confused before looking at Jason.

"You my daddy."

"Sure am little man." He quickly jumped on him giving him a hug. I smiled at them going over to the counter, where I had a picture of the three of us the day he was born.

"Look buddy, this was the day you were born."
Colin was lying on my chest and we were both just looking at him.

"That's me."

"Sure is, you were a tiny little guy." I smiled kissing his cheek.

"Let's finish breakfast, then mommy and I are taking you to the zoo."

"Yay."

We finished eating breakfast then got ready for the day.

"We take daddy's car?"

"No mine, daddy will ride with us."

"Okay." I took his hand and got him into his car. Jason came out with his bag, while I got in the car.

"Ready?"

"Yup." I smiled at him and drove off to the zoo. It was a quiet ride, with Colin humming to whatever song that was on the radio.

"Buddy, do you want us to bring your stroller?"

"No me walk."

"That's a lot of walking. I think we should bring your stroller." I told him.

"Daddy carry me." I looked at Jason and he smirked looking back at Colin.

"I think your momma is right we should bring your stroller."

"Fine." I knew he was disappointed but I really don't want to be carrying him all day. Finally, I pulled into the parking lot and found a spot. Jason had gotten the stroller out while I got Colin out.
