(August 2023) Colin's five and Harlow is two.
"Momma." I heard Harlow's sweet little voice.
"Come here baby, you and your brother get to go to nanas."
"No stay with you."
"Just for tonight, then momma is going to take both of you to breakfast tomorrow."
"Colin." She yelled in her cute little voice. My not so little boy came in and smiled at us.
"You ready?"
"We have to go?" Colin groaned.
"Yea, Jake and Maddox will be there."
"Okay!"
Harlow is still the only girl, but hopefully that will change. I'm not having any more kids anytime soon, so it's up to my sister and brother.
Finally, I got both kids in the car and headed off to my mom's. Sophia wanted me to come over, so I was going over there after dropping them off.
"Nana." They both yelled and ran into the house. I walked in and Colin was with my mom while Harlow was with my dad.
"Where are the boy's?"
"Should be here soon."
"Thank you again for my half of the kids."
"Of course, we love having them here." I nodded going over to kiss my little boys head.
"Be a good boy, and watch over your baby sister okay."
"Okay momma."
"Love you, have fun."
"Love you mommy." I walked back into the living room where my little girl was.
"Come here princess, mommy's got to go." She ran right into my arms hugging me.
"Love you princess, have fun with the boys."
"Stay." She pouted.
"I'm going to see Aunt Sophia. I'll pick you up in the morning I promise."
"Mommy." I looked at my mom and dad while they just smiled at me. Harlow was not going to let me go.
"Baby, you're going to have fun with the boys and with nana and poppa."
"Stay." I pulled her into my arms and sat on the couch with her.
"Harlow we can make cupcakes." Mom tried to persuade her.
"Mommy." She pushed her face into my neck.
"I have to go baby."
"No." Tears filled her eyes.
"How about I go for a little bit then I come stay with you?" She nodded her head and I gave her a kiss.
"Love you princess."
"Love you momma."
Finally, she let go and went over to my mom.
"I will be back later then, and just stay the night here."
"Okay, have fun."
"Thank you guys again."
Finally, I got to leave and went to my sisters. One of the cars is gone, so I'm assuming Drew is taking the kids over there. I pulled in the drive way and went right in the house. Sophia was standing at the counter when I walked in.
"Harlow wouldn't let me go. I'm going to stay at moms later."
"Why?" She frowned.
"Because my baby girl will remember that I told her that." I looked at the fridge and saw that she had taken down the picture of me with my kids.
