February 2016
I moved over trying to get warmer, only to find more coldness. Slowly I opened my eyes, finding out that I was alone in bed. I rolled over rubbing my eyes, before getting out of bed. Dave and Kayla had gone on a little vacation, leaving the apartment to me and Jason. Walking into the kitchen I found him making breakfast. I walked over wrapping my arms around his waist, resting my head on his back.
"Morning pretty girl."
"Morning, how long have you been up?"
"Little while, sorry you woke up alone."
"It's okay." He pulled me around kissing my forehead.
"Love you."
"Love you too."
"What are we doing today?"
"You'll see." He smiled. I leaned up giving his cheek a kiss.
"Watch out, don't want you to get burned." He was so sweet. I moved so he could put the food on the plates.
"Looks good baby, thank you."
"Anything for my girl." He pecked my lips, before I went over sitting at the table to eat.
"Dave and Kayla come back tomorrow right?"
"Yea." He nodded sitting next to me. After finishing breakfast, we took a shower.
"You wait here. I'm going to finish packing."
"Babe you sure you don't need any help." I asked him.
"I'm good, just relax."
"Okay."
It seemed like it took him forever for him to come back. He came in reaching for me, pulling me right into his arms.
"Ready?"
"As I'll ever be." He smiled giving me a quick peck, taking me to the truck.
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see." I sighed, looking out the window.
"Pretty girl, wake up."
"Huh." I opened my eyes finding Jason smiling at me.
"Hi."
"Come on." I followed him out of the truck, finding we were at the same spot he took me that night we met. He had set up a little picnic spot. I followed him over and sat next to him. Seeing it during the day is so much different from seeing it at night.
"Thank you."
"Anything for you pretty girl." He smiled, getting all the food out. To my surprise it was mostly all my favorites with some of his.
"My favorites."
"And mine too, but we both pretty much like the same thing." I agreed grabbing a plate from and filling it up.
"God, you know you're a good cook."
"Yea, I should probably start teaching you."
"Shut up, I can cook a little bit."
"What cereal?"
"You're an ass." I threw a roll at him.
"Whatever."
We finished eating, and then put everything away. Once that was done, we climbed into the back of the truck like we did that night.
"Did you ever think that we would here that night?"
