Why is it so cold? I thought to myself, and what is this metal bar?

As soon as I try and get up my head hits the cold metal above my head. I sit back down and hold my arms to try and create warmth.(Ha! Like thats gonna work) I felt a huge bump on belly and started to freak out.

When the fuck did I have sex?!

All of a sudden the metal box started to move upwards, and a red light appeared. The box started to move faster and faster while I clutched my swollen belly.

Just then it stopped, making me hit my head pretty hard. Wait, why is everything going blac-.

God my head hurts like a bitch. Where's my phone?

I put my hand down next to me to reach my phone but I couldn't find my night stand.

Where's my night stand?! Where am I ? What the hell is this place!?

I look around the room and realize that I'm in some sort of covered shelter made of wood and bits of dried out palm trees. I try and get out of the so called bed and came to the conclusion after 5 minutes of trying that it would be impossible. My belly was huge! I had swollen a planet!

10 minutes later someone opened the door and cheerfully greeted me.

"Well hello my name is Gally!" He had funny eyebrows. But the name reminded me of something.

"I..I can't remember what mine is..." I almost started to cry. I was losing it.

"Hey it's ok!" He cooed, "Look, you'll remember your name soon, I promise," He seemed so gentle.
"But right now that's the least of your problems, your pregnant. Usually Newbies start to work the next day of their arrival, but I have a feeling Alby won't make you work because of the state your in."

Lexi. What?! Lexi. That's my name!

"Lexi.." I whisper to myself. Gally must of heard it because his eyes opened up and said," That's funny, your name reminds me of something.." He said trailing off.

"Mommy!" Hope yelled at me from across the field. She was a little short to see above the tall grass, so I had to go and find her.
"Mommy? Where are you?" She giggled a little, I could see her dirty blonde pig tails just above the grass, so I walked aver to her, picking her up and putting her down for a nap.

Once I walked back outside I saw that Gally was there waiting for me.
"She's adorable.." He said smiling, almost as if it was his child.
"Yes, she is, isn't she?" I reply, Gally has helped so much with Hope for the past few years, taking care of her as if she was his own. Not to mention we kinda started dating.
"Well I gotta get back to work, see ya Lex." He says walking back to the builders station.

When the day was over, Gally helped put Hope to bed, but this time isn't was different.

"Ok, goodnight Hope." Gally said pulling her coverts up to her chin.
"Goodnight daddy..." She said in a soft whisper, falling right to sleep.

Gally looked at me and just stared at me with a confused expression.

"What?!" He whisper shouted looking at me.
"What? Don't look at me! I never told her to say that," I tried thinking why she would've said it." Maybe it's because she needs a father figure and you've been really helpful lately? I don't know.."
