Bram's POV:

She glares at me when I asked her what her name was, she exhales softly in exhaustion and says, "My name is-..."

A loud crash came from the hallway, I stiffen slightly at the sound and I say to the assassin, "Who knows that you are here?"

The girl stares at the door, a blank look playing on her face and says, coldly, "Does it look like I would know? I've been here for hours."

For some unknown reason I didn't believe her, I pull out my gun and slowly approach my door.

Sound of cursing came from outside my door and clearly this person wasn't even trying to be quiet. I go behind my door, holding the gun to my chest as I wait for the person to enter my apartment.

The sound of hissing came from Dorian who was perched on the kitchen counter; his back arched.

I frowned at this view, knowing that this was odd behavior for Dorian and my eyes glances back at my door.

The doorknob began to rattle as someone tries to enter my apartment, the person on the other side curses some more and noisily rattled the doorknob in frustration.

A smirk settles on my lips, I quietly eye the knob and I could hear the person picking the lock in the lock outside. I roll my eyes, clearly bored and slowly unlock the door.

As it clicks to unlock, the person quietly cheers to himself and opened the door. He peers into my apartment, not noticing me behind the door and sees the assassin. A smile of pure excitement flashes onto his face and he whispers out, "Lilian?"

Lilian looks over at the person, her eyes widen and hisses out, "What the hell are you doing here?"

The stranger enters more into my apartment, his short brown hair was spiked and says, "I came to get you. Cronus told me to--..."

I wrap an arm around his neck, pressing the gun into his back and I breath out, "You should of stayed there, now proceed into the living room where Lilian is so kindly tied up. And do not do anything you'll regret."

Lilian's shoulders dropped, shaking her head and mutters, "Dumbass." She glances at the guy and says to him in a nonchalant way, "You shouldn't of came Roan, I told you to stay home."

The boy, Roan scowls at what Lilian says as he slowly walks into the living room. He sits down on the couch and says, "You were missing for more than three hours and I was getting worried about you."

Lilian gives out a sigh, she looks at him and says, "You know that the job that I do is dangerous. And besides this kind gentleman was going to release me. Right?"

I scoff at her lie, I point my gun at the guy and say, "Who are you?" My eyes searches the stranger as I try to find something on him that I could find that would tell me who he was.

The guy glares at me, he looks at my body as if he was analyzing me as well and smirks as if something about me was funny. "I'm her brother and you are?"

I roll my eyes at his smirk, clearly not liking him and say, "I'm her captor  who wants some answers about Cronus." I point my gun at his sister and say to her, "Alright Lilian do you want to tell me about Cronus before I decide to shoot your dear brother here."

I know that was heartless for me to say, but I just wanted to get rid of her and rest in peace for once.

Lilian growls at my threat, her eyes full of sisterly care and says, "If you dare harm my brother, I will tear your throat apart." Her words bit into my skin with so much hate.

Roan looks at me with wide eyes and then at his sister. "Lilian please just answer the question."

I got to say, the way that the brother showed such concern about his sister and himself gave me all sorts of--... I shake my head that thought about that and I mentally cursed myself.

She doesn't answer her brother, she looks at the ground and says, "You don't know what's at stake if I tell him..." She looked at her brother now, her eyes filled with sadness.

I realized that sadness right away and I purse my lips together and I glance at her brother who was patiently waiting for her to continue. I don't reply at first, simply waiting.

Roan raises an eyebrow at the silence that Lilian carried with her and says, "Lilian why can't you say it?" His forehead creases in concern.

I clear my throat as I stood up straight and I respond with, "She sold her soul to him, to keep you out of harms way."

He swivels his head to glance at me, his face now pale and then looks at his sister. "Lilian, is that true?" His voice sounded hurt by what I told him and his lips forming a frown.

She bit her lower lip, clearly showing defeat and whispers, "Yes..." She doesn't say anything else afterwards.

----Note from Author---

I don't know what to actually say, except that I am liking where my story is going. I want to know what you think about all the previous chapters. I would like to know what questions you have or if you want to criticize my work in good or bad. After the next part though if anyone has questions about this. I will have one part with Q & A's with me answering them.
*Sighs*
Well I guess that is all I got to say for now.

Sincerely,
Cas
