Bram's POV:
I was silently reading the newspaper early in the morning, my cup of tea was steaming hot and the telly was turned on. I was reading about how over forty people were murdered last night, clearly I had a pretty good idea who it was and I shake my head.
The grandfather clock in the foyer chimed loudly, causing it to disrupt my reading and I throw the newspaper down onto the coffee table. I get up out of my seat, heading to the kitchen and see that Dorian (my cat) was sitting on the windowsill; staring out at the busy streets timidly. I smile slightly, running my fingers along Dorian's fur and I say, "Hey Dorian."
Dorian's body response to my contact, his body moves upwards in pleasure and meows. Wanting more attention from me.
I laugh softly, opening my fridge to look for any leftovers and I softly hum a song. I inhale softly, seeing milk and I take that out. I set it on the counter, I hear the sound of Dorian's paws softly padding along the counter top and I roll my eyes at him. Obviously he wanted the milk, it's what he always wants whenever I am home and not on a hunt.
Mew, Dorian responds as he butts his head against my arm and purrs loudly. His grey and white fur sticking to my black shirt as I continue to look for something to eat.
Nothing was in the fridge except milk, lots and lots of milk was stocked in the fridge. I muttered something under my breath and I say to Dorian,"Knock it off buddy." I go over to the freezer, hoping there was food in there and I could hear Dorian meowing after me.
I'll be needing to go to the store later today then, gosh... But the police will be looking for me because I am the most wanted man out there. Time to call Tokoshi then to pick me up some groceries.
I close my eyes, sending a message to my brother and patiently wait for an answer back from him. As I kept my eyes closed as I concentrate to hear the message, Dorian kept on meowing. I scowled at my cat, wanting to pick him up and lock him in my bedroom for an hour or two.
"You called little brother?" Tokoshi says, his voice sounding calm and irritated.
I open my eyes to see Tokoshi sitting in my armchair, his face placid of any kind of emotions that he was keeping underneath that mask and I give him a small smile of greeting. "Yeah, I called to ask you if-.."
"No." Tokoshi blandly says, his eyes watching my every step I take.
I stare at him, mouth opened and I pick up Dorian who was making his way to Tokoshi. "Did you know what I was going to ask?" I say, petting Dorian's fur.
He gets up from his seat, he stands in front of me and says, "Yes, I do. And no way in hell am I going to go shopping for you. Now if you don't mind, I have other things to do."
I scowl at my brother, I set Dorian down on the ground and say, "I can't exactly go out shopping, can I? I'm a wanted man out there and if I do go shopping, I'll most likely get arrested."
Tokoshi shrugs his shoulders and says to me, "It's not my fault for trying to get the rogue god. Your problem, you fix it." He snaps his fingers, disappearing on me and I just stand there in absolute shock.
I look at Dorian who was staring at me and I say to him, "This is your fault, now I have to go to the stupid store in a stupid disguise and hope that nobody notices me and..." I walk over to my room, grabbing some glasses and my leather jacket. I grab my wallet and head out to the store.
