5 days later in Bram's POV:
I was in the training room in my parents house, sparring with my brother Tokoshi. I throw a right punch at him, grunting slightly in frustration as my hands met my brother's chest and I could tell we had eyes on us... I ignore it.
Tokoshi grins like an idiot, his eyes gleaming with anticipation and says, "So little brother..." He aims a kick at my legs, but I block it. "You're back into finding Cronus?" His bangs goes in his eyes.
I back up from his reach, huffing and say, "That's why I'm here, is it not?" I look over my shoulders to see Thaddeus leaning against the pillar.
His eyes cold, and his posture tense.
I turn my head to see that Tokoshi's fist was aiming at my face, I try to block it. Too late, it connects with my face and I felt my head whip to one side. I groan in pain, touching my face and realize his fist impacted my nose. It was now bleeding. I hear Thaddeus laugh at the pain that was inflicted on me, I growl and then feel my feet give way. Fuck. Was all I could think, before my back met the mat.
Tokoshi's foot was planted on my chest to keep me there and says, "I win."
The wind was still knocked out of me, but after of a few seconds lying on the ground it came back. I look up at my brother, and hit my head on the mat with another huff. I say, "I'm losing now."
Tokoshi removed his foot off of my chest, a triumphant smile playing on his face and says, "If you weren't too busy goofing off for the past month or so; you would've kicked my ass." He holds out his hand for me to take and waits.
I take it and reply, "Shut it brother."
He yanks me up onto my feet and says, "Alright, but it'll be our secret." He winks and walks over to Thaddeus. "Hey Thad, what's the news?"
Thaddeus meets my eyes and says, "We got a letter from Cronus himself."
Oh shit... Did he find out about Roan and I? That was my first thought that popped in my head and I say, "What does it say??"
Thaddeus walked over to me, pulling out a letter from his jacket pocket. He walks over to me, once he reaches me he doesn't hand me the letter. He stares into my eyes, frowning slightly and says in a low voice for only my ears to catch it and says, "You're hiding something from everyone and I am planning on finding what it is."
I blankly stare at my older brother, trying to keep my face emotionless and I say back to him in a low voice, "I have no clue what you're talking about, brother of mine." I snatch the letter out of his grasp and unfold the first letter. I begin to read it.
Bram,
I would love to talk to you about this predicament of ours. The one where you're suppose to hand me over to your father and send me back into the eternal prison that he had made for only one person that can be contained in it.
Yes, I know what you're thinking right now... You're thinking if you could actually trust such twisted person. I swear to you that it's my intention to just talk in a peaceful manner. No weapons of mass destruction will be in my house, also myself will have my butler Jaquése hide mine from me. I will not be told where my lovely weapons are hidden, unless it is sure that you brought yours he will alert me and I think we know where it would lead.
So without further delay I invite you to my house, meet me at Northumberland St. and we shall talk on the way to my mansion....
Sincerely,
Cronus
P.S: Burn this letter once you read it. Don't tell anyone what you've just read.I stare at the letter in shock, surprised that Cronus would want to discuss important matter with me. I head to the fireplace and throw the note into the fire. I watch as the flames lick the letter, taking its sweet time on devouring it.
