Chapter 25- At The Theater Again

   I woke up feeling someone attached to my side. Hair was in my face and as soon as I moved it and looked down I saw Liz. Memories from the day before popped into my mind and I smiled. Honestly I was in shock more everyday that we spend together. I haven't felt this much happiness in a long time.

     Next thing I know I hear someone stomping down the hallway. Lin burst into my room yelling about something and all I could make out were the words come and breakfast. When Lin burst into the room that had woken Liz up immediately so we both got up to get breakfast.

     When we had gotten to the table I noticed plates and forks were already set out along with the food. We were having omelets for breakfast so I was pumped. Omelets are probably my second favorite breakfast food right behind pancakes/waffles. Yes I added a slash because lets be real they're pretty much the same thing so I categorize them together. Anyways we sat down at the table, next to each other, and we scarfed down our food. The food was amazing and it turns out Lin had made it so that was a surprise.

      Sadly soon after breakfast Liz's mom had come to pick her up and she was gone. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my day and I had no plans. Lin was leaving so he asked me if I wanted go to the theater with him, and of course I said yes. So with that I quickly got dressed and did my makeup them we were off. I was actually quite excited to go to the theater because I hadn't been there in forever. The drive seemed to take forever because I was so excited to see everyone.

      Thankfully we got to the theater soon and I quickly jumped out of the car and was urging Lin to move faster. He just laughed at me and started to move really slow. I ran over and grabbed his arm dragging him quickly to the stage door. Finally we walked in and I was giddy with excitement. I couldn't wait to see everyone again.

The first people we ran into were Anthony, Jazz, Pippa, and Renée. Once they saw me they shouted a hello and came to hug me. Our little group hug was great and I was so happy to see them again. We said a quick goodbye and I promised to go talk to them after the show. As we were on the way we also crossed paths with Chris, Daveed, Thayne, Sasha, Ariana, and Oak. I gave them all hugs and left them with a promise of me going to see them.

We soon got to Lin's dressing room and said hello to Jon when we saw him. While Lin was getting dressed I decided to go around and see how everyone was doing. I'd hoped that they would bring anything about Trent up because I just wanted a day without him mentioned. Luckily my hopes came true and everyone just caught up with me. First I went to Anthony and Jazz, because of course they were together, and we just talked about how life was for me and for them. Then I went to Leslie, then Daveed, then Oak, and so on till I had said hello and caught up with everyone.

     "Hey kid where have you been?" Lin asked inquisitively as he passed me by while I was on the way to his dressing room?

     "Oh I've just been catching up with everyone. Seeing how they're doing because I haven't seen them forever and all," I replied.

    "Yea ok of course sounds awesome. I'm just going around to everyone to try and get them into costume because the show starts in 5 minutes," Lin said.

     "O..........k" I trailed off as he had left immediately after he stopped talking because he was stressed.

   He tends to get scatterbrained and have a short attention span when he get stressed so I understood. I chuckled at him as I walked back to his dressing room. There were obviously no seats available so I just sat in his dressing room listening to the music. Not that I was complaining because it was still awesome!

    Sadly enough the show was over in what seemed to be like no time but was actually 2 hours. I didn't want to leave. The theater was only full of good memories and was a happy place for me. On top of that the people in this theater have taken me in and treated me amazingly considering I was just a girl from off the street. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a lot of talking coming from outside. Lin had entered the room and he still had his adrenaline pumping from the show.

  "Heyooo! How'd the show sound?" He asked with a big goofy smile on his face.

   "It sounded amazing as always," I chuckled.

   He could be a real dork sometimes, I thought to myself.

     "So some of the cast wants to go out to dinner tonight, do you want to go? We could always just go home if you didn't want to go," he stated.

     "I'd live to go to dinner! Where are we going?" I inquired.

      "Some Italian restaurant that Anthony swears is the best food he's ever had," Lin smiled.

    He turned around and started to get changed. Well I may be leaving ,I thought, but at least I will be leaving with the people who I feel comfortable with. As soon as Lin was done changing he started running out of the door, only turning around to signal me to follow him.

Welp here it is. So sorry on the wait but I've been super busy. Junior year just started (😭😭😭😭) and I have tennis. Anyways I hope y'all liked it and I will start posting more regularly and I will tell you if anything changes. Anywho byyeee! XOXO
