  Retrograde/ James blake

"You pissed me off in class so I threw a book at your head and now I'm in detention and jesus fuck I hate you so much and the teacher made me apologise and wait you're cuter up close and the way you talk is kind of nice actually oh fuck no"

"Their ego is so visible, I can almost watch it grow."

The note rested on my lap again and I rolled my eyes at him.

He winked from the other side of class.

Fucking arrogant bastard.

I took the note, raising my arms up so he could see, and ripped it into small pieces, letting it fall on the floor.

Scott raised his eyebrows and chuckled, putting a hand over his heart in mock hurt.

The second note came a few minutes later.
And then the third.
And the forth.
By the time the fifth one landed on me I was furious.

Before I knew what was happening, my arms reached for the biology book in front of me and with all the force I could master I send it flying towards him.

It landed on his head with a loud thud, sending the class in hysterics.

Everyone was looking at us now, some chuckling and others laughing loudly as we both looked at the furious teacher in front of us.

"HOYING! GRASSI! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO?"

Scott smirked at me.

"But I didn't even touch him! He threw the book at me!"

His voice was deeper than I remembered it being, more grown up.

Scott and I never talked much. I had my friends from drama class and he had his from the football team and everything was fine and dandy.

Until today.

I wanted to rip his head off.

Two can play this game Hoying.

"You're the one who kept throwing me notes with your number on them!"

His eyes widened so much I swear they were about to pop out of his head.

It made me notice how beautiful and blue the were and- Mitch. Stop it. You hate him.

"Don't you dare turn this towards me you-"

"ENOUGH!"

Miss Kaplan's scream echoed through out the class and I shivered.

"Hoying, stop sending him notes. Get his number outside of class. Grassi, don't throw books at people. Now Mitch, apologize."

I raised my eyebrows at her.
Why should I apologize?

"But Miss-"

"No Mitch. Apologize to Scott so we can go on with class and I can write you both a slip for detention."

I sighed and marched towards him, grabbing the biology book in the process.

He looked down at me with an triumphant smirk and those blue eyes and I wanted to scream at him.
