Two years later.

"Bria, get off of me!" A sleepy Selin grumbled,Brianna didn't listen. "You have to get up!" Brianna continued to hit Selin with the pillow in her hand. "Why?" Selin groaned. "We have work in an hour!" Brianna said, Selin jumped up and ran in to the bathroom of the house she shared with Brianna.

Ten minutes later, Selin ran in to her bedroom and found Brianna sitting on her bed. "Brianna, get out!" Selin held on to the towel around her body. "I'm leaving in ten minutes, with or without you." Brianna walked out of the room.

Quickly, Selin got dressed in a white tank top and a pair of jeans. "I'm leaving!" Brianna shouted. "It hasn't even been ten minutes!" Selin rolled her eyes as she put on her white and black Nike socks, grabbed her red air max's and ran out of the house.

"You didn't even put your shoes on." Brianna laughed as she began to drive off. "Where's you're work top?" Brianna asked, Selin took out her red dickie work shirt from her bag and put it on.

"Why was you in such a rush to leave?" Selin frowned as she laced up her shoes. "It's Jarell's birthday." Brianna smiled at the thought of her boyfriend, Selin rolled her eyes. Brianna seemed to love her boyfriend Jarell but everybody within a five mile radius of the couple could see that Jarell's eyes were never on Brianna, they were on whatever woman was around at the time.

Selin had told Brianna repeatedly that the dark skinned, dimpled, curly haired boy was bad for her and that she should leave him alone but Selin's pleas fell on deaf ears. Brianna put Jarell on a pedestal and he came first, she put him before her family and her best friend.

"You don't mind getting the bus back do you?" Brianna asked. "You're not going back home with me?" Selin frowned. "No, I'm taking Jarell out to eat, he deserves to be treated." Brianna grinned, Selin sighed. "I swear, you don't see your pay check, it all goes to Jarell." Selin shook her head. "Not this again." Brianna sighed. "What hold does he have over you Bria? I just don't get it." Selin said.

"You don't have to get it, okay? I love him, he loves me. End of story." Brianna commanded. "Bria, I'm not about to start an argument with you-" "Well then don't." Brianna pulled up outside the shop they work in.

Selin closed the door of the car and swiftly walked in. "Selin Atkinson." The store manager gestured for her to walk over to him. "I have a couple of workers off sick." He said. "I'm sorry Mr Brine but what does that have to do with me?" Selin frowned.

"Well, Miss Atkinson, I'm going to have to ask you to work for an extra three hours for double pay." Mr Brine sighed. "Okay, sure. What do you want me to do first?" Selin asked. "Stack shelves one to fourteen, be careful using the ladder, that's how our last worker broke his leg." Mr Brine walked off.

"Great." Selin let out a deep breath as she walked towards the storage room. Selin was going to be working until ten pm which meant walking back home in complete darkness. "Just freaking great." Selin set up the ladder, she was no more than three steps up when she felt somebody watching her.

"No, don't stop, I was just admiring the view." Jarell sent Selin a Colgate smile. "Aren't you supposed to be with your girlfriend?" Selin cut her eyes and began stacking the shelves. "Girlfriend or not, she's nowhere near as thick as you." Jarell chuckled.

"Just look at that perfectly round ass, those big -" "Jarell, go and bother somebody else." Selin said. "Or better yet, go and do your job." Selin fake smiled. "Nah, I'm cool." Jarell smiled. At that moment, Brianna walked down the isle. "Jj!" Brianna screamed as she hugged him. "What are you doing here?" Brianna asked.

"I work here." Jarell frowned. "Plus, I got an earlier shift so I can be with you." Jarell kissed Brianna. "I love you." Brianna grinned, Jarell looked in the other direction. "Say it back then!" Brianna giggled. "I, I love you." Jarell fake smiled as Brianna walked off.

"Why are you still here?" Selin groaned. "I like-" "Jarell, back to work!" Mr Brine shouted, Jarell huffed and walked off.

Selin began stacking the middle shelves when she heard a person behind her. "Jarell, you better disappear real quick before I-" Selin cut herself off when she saw two men standing behind her.

"I'm so sorry, I thought you were someone else!" Selin covered her mouth. "It's all good ma." The one covered in tattoos smirked. "What would you like?" Selin frowned. "Can you show us where the guns are?" The second asked.

"We don't sell any here." Selin shrugged. "But there is one shop two roads down that does sell them, Mr Turner sells the best glocks and semi automatics." Selin continued stacking the shelves.

"Thank you." The tattooed one smiled. "You're welcome." Selin replied.

Two hours later,Selin was on her last shelf when Mr Brine approached her. "I'm leaving now, don't forget to lock up." He smiled and waved as he walked off. As soon as he was gone, Selin brang out her phone.

"Hi Yahaira, are you at home?" Selin asked. "I'm always at home nina, Que pasa?" Yahaira questioned. "I'm still at work, I'll swing by afterwards." Selin picked up her bag and coat as she locked up the shop. "Que pasa?" Yahaira repeated. "Nothing's wrong, I'll see you soon." Selin hung up and put her phone away.

Selin quickly jumped on the bus and she looked out the window like she always did. Except, this time she saw something that made her stomach flip. Even though it was a stop early, Selin jumped off of the bus and walked towards the woman she had seen through the bus window.

The woman was wearing only a bra and panties, parading through the streets and stopping at every car. Selin squinted at the figure before she shook her head. "Alissia, what are you doing?" Selin frowned.

"I don't answer to that name anymore, do I know you?" Alissia raised an eyebrow. "I'm your daughter." Selin's eyes filled with tears. "I don't have a daughter. Stop lying, the prices will still be the same. A tenner for me to go down low on you or fifteen for sex." Alissia smiled.

Selin shook her head and walked off in the direction of Yahaira's house. Selin was a road away when she heard gunshots, Selin looked behind her and saw a street war had begun, bullets were flying.

Scared, Selin ducked behind a car. "Jayshawn, we need to go." Selin heard a voice say. "Jayshawn, they're all dead, we've done our job, we need to go!" They yelled. "Elijah..." Another voice called. "What?" The first voice asked.

Selin heard a click of a gun, she looked up and saw a gun hanging above her. "We've got a follower." Elijah laughed.

The other person peered at Selin. "Now beautiful, you're gonna watch him die and them you're going to die." The Elijah winked.

"You traitor." The man without a gun shook his head, Elijah smiled.

"Bye Jayshawn."
