Chapter ten

"You've been driving for hours,the radio said it's eleven pm,when are we going to get there?" Selin yelled from the backseat. "Are you in a hurry?" Jayshawn snapped. "Why are you acting like such a bitch?" Selin frowned. "I'm sorry,it's just-" "I don't care." Selin said.

Ten minutes later, they pulled up outside a mansion bigger than the other one. Selin jumped out of the car and walked behind Jason. "Where's the idiot?" Selin asked. "In the car, he didn't want to come out yet." Jason chuckled. "You've made quite an impression on him." Jason smirked. "Can you show me where my room is, I'm really tired." Selin pouted.

Jason grabbed her hand and walked her up the stairs. "Are you alright?" Jason asked. "Yeah, it's just,you're the first person to be nice to me, Jayshawn is acting like a two year old and your friend, he's even worse." Selin frowned. "You cool, I don't have a problem with you and Roc will warm up to you. Jayshawn, well, he's difficult but he's a good guy." Jason smiled.

"Good guys don't kidnap people." Selin muttered. "Shrek did." Jason shrugged. "Difference, Shrek saved her." Selin raised an eyebrow. "But isn't that what Jayshawn did?" Jason copied Selin's expression. "Here's your room ma, sweet dreams." Jason walked off.

Selin walked in to the room and looked around. The circular bed had gold silk sheets and a white undersheet, the bed had twelve gold and white pillows. On either side of the bed was a white lamp on a black and gold stand. The ceiling had spotlights and a huge  built in mirror. Next to the lamp was a walk in wardrobe, the door of the wardrobe had b beige curtains on either side, glass Windows and a gold handle. The carpet of the floor was beige and on the floor was three couches; one gold,one white and one beige. On one wall was a mirror on a door that led in to an en suite. Parallel to the bed was a seventy inch tv.

"Nice." Selin smiled. Selin went inside the closet and pulled out a pair of black, grey, white and neon pink Nike shorts and a black Nike sports bra with a pink tick. She walked up to the tv and tried to see if she could turn on the tv but saw no buttons.

"How do you turn this thing on?" Selin yelled in frustration,she looked up and saw the tv had flashed on. "Voice activated? Jayshawn has too much money." Selin jumped in to bed and shook her head. "Play Ride Along." Selin said.

"Pause." Selin jumped out of the bed and saw the paused tv. She put her socks back on and walked out of the bedroom. Selin looked at the hallway and down the long staircase, cautiously, Selin walked down the stairs.

"Where is the kitchen?" Selin shook her head in frustration,she walked down a maze of corridors, past various rooms and stopped at the last corridor. Selin poked her head in to the first room and saw pairs of boxing gloves, head and mouth gear, a punch bag, skipping ropes and a cabinet,she shut the door and saw another room.

She opened the door and saw an assault course, a barbell, a cross-trainer, various weights, a treadmill and more, she shut the door back and walked to the next. Inside the next room was two huge trampolines.

"Urgh!" Selin slammed the door and walked to the end of the corridor. She pushed the door open. "Thank goodness." She mumbled. She left the light off and walked towards the fridge. Selin pulled out a carton of orange juice and closed it, she searched the cupboards and found a glass, she began to pour the drink in the cup.

"What you doing?" A voice boomed, Selin screamed and jumped. Jayshawn turned the light on and began to chuckle. "You're not funny!" Selin shouted, she finished pouring her orange juice and put the carton back.

"You can't sleep?" Jayshawn asked. "Was you following me?" Selin frowned. "No, I wanted a drink." Jayshawn picked up the glass of orange juice before Selin could. "Thanks ma." He winked and downed the juice, Selin glared at him and took out the drink and another glass.

"Where's your room?" Selin asked, Jayshawn raised an eyebrow. "Right next to yours." He smiled. "Why are you smiling, I only asked because I don't feel safe when I'm alone." Selin whispered. "That's why I never lived by myself." Selin sighed.

"Do you want me to stay with you in your room, just for the night, or don't you trust me?" Jayshawn poured himself another glass of orange juice. "On the couch. Furthest from me. Next to the window." Selin said. "Whatever." Jayshawn shrugged.

"I'll be in your room." Jayshawn walked up the stairs, Selin grabbed her glass, the orange juice, sweet and salted popcorn and a fruit pot.

Selin placed the items down on the floor of her room and jumped in to the bed. "Play." Selin said as she picked the popcorn up.

"You want some popcorn?" Selin offered. "I'm a bit far away." Jayshawn mean mugged Selin. "You can come here but we're not sleeping in the same bed." Selin continued eating popcorn. "I'll be back." Jayshawn walked out of the room and came back topless with pyjama trousers on.

"You like the view or something, you're not blinking." Jayshawn smirked. "I'm, I'm not even looking at you." Selin cut her eye and stuffed popcorn in her mouth. "Course." Jayshawn chuckled as he laid in Selin's bed.

Selin moved away from him and drank her drink. "Why you so thirsty?" Jayshawn chuckled. "I was going to ask you the same thing." Selin picked up her fruit pot. "I'll have the melon and the watermelon." Jayshawn said. "You can have the melon, I have the watermelon, the pineapple, the grapes and the mango. That's fair right?" Selin questioned.

Jayshawn and Selin laughed at the movie before Selin fell quiet. "What's wrong?" Jayshawn sat up. "I'm never going home am I?" Selin felt a tear drop. "Don't cry, you-"

"Tell me the truth." Selin frowned. "Look, I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe from Money and if that means keeping you here for a while,I'll do it." Jayshawn sighed.

"Why do I matter to you?" Selin raised an eyebrow. "I owe it to you." Jayshawn smiled. "What does that mean?" Selin asked. "It's not the time." Jayshawn shook his head.

"Can you pass me the carton on the floor?" Selin inquired,Jayshawn leaned over and past it to Selin. "Thanks." She smiled, Jayshawn smiled back. Selin pushed him on to the floor.
"It's like that, huh?" Jayshawn said from the floor. "Night!" Selin waved. "Selin, don't be like that!" Jayshawn shouted.

"Night Jayshawn."
