Selin fell asleep on the couch in her bedroom, she looked around her room and saw she still hadn't unpacked the bags of shopping. Selin did her hygeine and then she tipped out twenty bags of clothes, shoes,underwear and perfume. She sung" I don't want to know" as she put her things away.

Selin stopped packing up and sighed. Her belly screamed out for food but she knew that if she left her room, she would run in to Jayshawn. Selin finished putting her things away when she heard the front door shut, she took her chance and ran downstairs.
Selin entered the kitchen and saw a pizza sitting on the table with a note. The note read: I'm sorry, this doesn't make up for shit but I didn't want you to starve to death, I'll be back in an hour. J.
Selin picked up the pizza, two cartons of fruit juice, three fruit pots and various snacks up to her room. "I'm good for the rest of the day." Selin smiled to herself,she sat on her bed with the pizza next to her.
"On." She said, the tv turned on. "Play best man's holiday." Selin grabbed a slice of pizza as the movie started.
Ten minutes in to the movie Selin heard a knock on the door. "I'm coming in." Malia came in and laid down on the bed. "I thought they told you not to move around a lot?" Selin asked as Malia grabbed a slice of pizza.
"I'm in your room now, since I know you wasn't going to leave here if you might run in to Jayshawn." Malia smiled. "I think you should talk to him."
"Do you know what he did?" Selin asked, Malia shook her head. "He's the reason my mother has an addiction to drugs, he's the reason my mother was never a mother to me, he's the reason she left me with this scar " Selin rolled up her top to reveal a big scar just underneath her heart.
"She almost killed me because he was late on giving her his drugs." Selin said. "I was eleven and that was the second time I ran away from home, bleeding, I passed out on the streets and woke up in hospital. She was the only family I had until the Araya's took me in two years ago so how do you think I felt finding out that he took my mother away and replaced her with a monster?" Selin picked up another slice of pizza.
"I'm so sorry." Malia's eyes widened. "I never knew."
Selin picked up another slice of pizza. "Yeah, I know. It's funny, the things you need to know are the things you never get told." Selin sighed.
