"What did you do?" Jason turned towards Jayshawn and frowned. Jayshawn rubbed his chin and sat down on the couch. "I honestly don't know."

"Jayshawn, what did you do?" Jason repeated. "I think someone told her." Jayshawn sighed. "Told her what?" Jason asked. "The truth." Jayshawn stood up. "If they told her the truth, she wouldn't be locked up in that room, they told her fragments of the truth." Jason said.

"What's the difference?" Jayshawn frowned. "How do you paint without a paintbrush?" Jason smiled. "You use your hands." Jayshawn smiled. "So at the end of it all, you've still got a painting but it looks nothing like its supposed to, you get what I mean?" Jason questioned.

"I think so." Jayshawn responded. "The difference between the truth and a fragment of the truth is that one paints the picture the way it's supposed to be whereas the other paints an image that isn't the way it should be." Jason stood up.

"Just leave her be until she calms down, last time I tried to talk to a woman I made angry, I narrowly avoided getting stabbed." Jason chuckled. "How do I avoid her? We live in a house together." Jayshawn said.

"I'm pretty sure you're not going to see her unless she wants to be seen." Jason walked upstairs to Selin's room.

He knocked on the door and opened it. He saw Selin spread out on the bed with all her bags of shopping around her. "Selin?" Jason sat on the edge of the bed. "Did you know?" She whispered.

Jason shook his head no. "I don't know what he did and I don't want to know either, I just think that whatever Dray told you isn't the whole truth."

"I only came in here to tell you that I'm going to the hospital to see if I can take Malia home." Jason spotted Selin's phone and picked it up. "Here's my number and I'll put Malia's in too, call or text me if you want to talk." Jason began to walk out of the room.

"Wait." Selin ran to him. "Can I go with you, I don't want to stay here." Selin's eyes began to water. "Yeah but I'm dropping you back afterwards." Jason smiled as Selin walked in to the car.

Malia looked better than she did earlier, except for the big bruises on her cheek, arm, stomach and leg. "So when can she leave?" Jason asked. "She can leave tomorrow as long as you keep an eye on your stitches and not move around. You will have to come back weekly to see when your stitches can be removed." The nurse grinned.

"Hey Malia." Selin walked over to Malia. "You found her?" Malia asked. "No, he almost ran me over as I ran out of Dray's house but how did you know where I was?" Selin frowned at Jason.

"Your friend,Selin I'm sorry." Jason sighed. "Sorry for what?" Selin asked. "They killed her, Money's people." Jason looked at Selin. "Why?" Selin whispered.

"She came to us, she found in the parking lot and she asked for you, when Jay told her you was taken she gave us a piece of paper with address on it and said you was there. She knew who was after you and they killed her before she told us."

Malia grabbed Selin's hand. "I'm so sorry for your loss Selin, I know how much you meant to you." Malia saw a tear roll down Selin's face,Selin nodded her head. "Has a Spanish woman and a black man walked by together?" Selin asked, Roc nodded his head.

"Not too long ago." Roc replied. "That's her parents,my foster parents. They must think they've lost both of us,they've got to know that I'm still here!" Selin ran in to the hallway and got dragged back in to Malia's hospital room.

"Why won't you let me see them?" Selin hit Jason's hands as he held her still.

"Because, if you go out there and hug them, kiss them or whatever, your putting them in harms way. I'm trying to help you Selin." Jason hugged her as she cried.

"Then let me go home, to them, to my family." Selin whispered. "I can't do that."

"We're your family now,we have to look out for each other because we're all we've got."
