No,
I don't want any man to determine how beautiful of woman I am,
By the length of my hair, the shade of my skin or the size of my waist.

Because I choose to cover myself and want you to determine me not by my physical appearance,
But based on my intellect, my faith, my character, my soul.

I am not any woman who is comfortable with the lustful gaze the men cast.
I am not any woman whose happiness lies in how many likes she hits on her pictures.

I am not any woman who lets her beauty on display.
I am not any woman who wants her beauty to be defined by society.
Because I know in hijab, I'm the most beautiful woman in the sight of my Lord.

You see I'm not any woman.
I am a woman who follows the footsteps of the mother of believers.
I am a woman of dignity.
I am a woman of nobility.

I am a Muslim woman.

Dedicated to all my sisters who wear hijab and ones who are struggling to wear the hijab.
