I awoke to rattling chains and growl and surprisingly cheering. I slowly lift my head and ease myself to carefully open my eyes so that none knows I'm awake. I open them slowly and bite my tongue so I don't gasp. I'm in The queen of the SkyWings prison. I look around to see where the cheering is coming from, and a horrible sense of dread comes upon my face. The cheering is coming from the arena. I see 2 dragons in them one is a young SkyWings who looks a bit older that me. And the other one looked as old as Queen Glory. I wanted to look away but I couldn't. The battle was gruesome as I looked closer I realized that it was a SkyWing against a SandWing. The SandWing had scars across its face and its underside was bleeding badly. But then the SkyWing jumped on top of the SandWing and it howled in pain. The SkyWing got up and pranced away. I didn't understand what she just did. But as I look closer the SandWings wings were on fire. It's tail was useless against it and it caught on fire to. And slowly but surely the SandWing burned to a crisp. Thoughts were racing through my mind, as I turned away from the fight only to hear cheers. I needed to question someone. I needed to know why they attacked the RainWings. I mean why would they attack us. We're so peaceful. My questions were answered as the arena began filing out and the queen left and the sun started to set. I watched the sun with my muzzle laying on the cold floor of the sky prisons. Soon dinner came. It was disgusting I couldn't bring myself close to eating it. It was meat. RainWings don't eat meat. We eat fruit. I ignored it and shoved it off the edge. I look over the the sides and below me to see who I was chained with. I was surprised and a bit happy. I was chained with Utopia, Macaw and Sapphire. I wanted to call out to them but I didn't. Then the lights to the palace went out and everything was dark until I heard a voice.

"I never thought I'd see another RainWing dragon again."

I wiped around baring my teeth at whoever was talking. I couldn't see anyone.  I look up and the SkyWing who was in the arena earlier today. My scales turned an unusual shade of green but I forced it back but not soon enough.

"Scared eh."

I flare my nostrils and say back through clenched teeth "Go Away!"

She didn't seem frightened at all.

"Ok so I'm going to assume that you don't want this." She was holding some kind of tray with some fruit on it. There were 4 pieces. I was going to assume my friends hadn't eaten at all. So I grabbed it. I blew with my mouth onto Macaw's scales and she woke up looking up. I smile, grab a piece of fruit and toss it down to her. She catches it with her mouth and smiles back. I did the same thing with Utopia and Sapphire.

"Thanks." I manage to muster those words out of my mouth before she started getting up to fly away. Then my thoughts strike me.

"Wait!" I hiss through a nearly closed mouth. She turns around and flys back.

"Yes?"
"I have some questions for you, do you mind answering some?"
"Ok." she responds in a quite happy voice.

I tell her all my questions. She answered them all pretty well. She told me that she didn't know why the RainWings were being attacked and taken. But she did tell me that they weren't going to kill us or anything. Relief came at me like a barrel. That was the one good thing. She said that the Queen just had some questions she wanted to ask the RainWings. I clench my jaw. The sun slowly started climbing into the air and she left. I just hoped that that information kept me, my friends and the other RainWings alive.
