Chapter 11

Glory's POV (again)

Clay and I fly until we stop to hide from the guards. When we turn around to walk deeper into the trees that we landed in we run into another dragon.

"Oh my I..I..I'm so sorry." She stutters

"Ow." I said rubbing my head. "It's ok..."

I finally got a good look at the dragon that I ran into. It was a Skywing! I bared my teeth at her hissing.

"Ahh! No please don't hurt me!" She says tucking herself under her wings. I lower my attack confused. Skywings were never this soft. Now that I study her more closely she didn't even have proper Skywing colors. When her scales were supposed to be more of a orange and red her scales were red, orange, gold, and a little bit of random colors under her wings.

"Oh do you like my colors?" She asks me.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to stare." Her scales were actually a very pretty color. Like a Rainwing spit colors on her.

"Oh my gosh where are my manners my name is Lyre."

"Lyre? That's a pretty name? But it doesn't sound like.."

"A Skywing name, ya I get that a lot. My mom was a Rainwing and my dad was a Skywing."

"Oh! I didn't know that. I'm sorry."  I reply tucking my wings in.

"It's ok! Umm is your friend going to be ok?" She asks me.

My eyes widen, I forgot I brought Clay with me. I whip around and see Clay on the ground dozed off, probably from running into me. 

"Ya he will. By the way why are you in here." I point out gesturing to the forest around us.

"Umm well I don't like being around other Skywings, so I moved out here. I have a camp deeper into the forest, do you want to come there with me?" Lyre asks me. "You can bring your friend if your wondering."

"Sure! I'm Queen Glory by the way." I say.

"Oh my gosh! Your a Queen! I'm so sorry for taking up your time!" She says tears forming in the corners of her eyes.

"Oh no its ok! Please don't cry. I don't mind honestly."

"Ok." She says sniffing. When the last of her tears were gone she speaks to me again. "Well lets go to my camp."

I nod to her and we fly around Clay, Lyre at his front end me at his back end. We struggle to lift him up. We we finally get up into the air we fly off to where her camp was.

What kind of stories do you guys like to read so that I can add more stories that will attract more readers?
