Chapter 8

It's been a week since we've been captured and brought to the SkyWing prison. It's felt like forever though. Every part of me aches to go invisible and pretend that I flew away but I knew that I would get killed if they found me still in my chains thinking that it was a game. I sighed as I returned to daydreaming about a lot of stuff. Like my beautiful rainforest home or the delicious fruits and the rainbow flowers. I wonder what queen Glory is doing and I wonder if Kinkajou is alright. Behind me I hear a rustle of chains and I turn my head slowly. It was a Skywing guard.

"Come on." He says sternly at me yanking my chains.

I decide not to put up a fight and I follow him. I look behind me and I see Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby looking at me with a panicked expression. I start to follow him not wanting to put up a fight. 

After a small flight we come upon Scarlets arena. 'What the?' Started flowing in and out of my head. 'No no no no no no!' I start panicking but my face and scales shows calmness. But then all the questions starts flowing to my head to when we were first fighting the Skywings. 'Why were they fighting us in the first place? Why is the prison and Queen Scarlets arena still here? Soon we come upon the palace and the guard still flies towards it. We soon land inside of Queen Sarlets palace and the guard ties me to a post a puts a muzzle on my about. I'm assuming to prevent me from using my 'magical death spit' like Glory told me. When the guard is done tying me to the post he flys off in the direction of the prisons and it worries me. I just hope my friends will be ok.

Glory's POV

Tsunami, Sunny, Clay, and I head back in the direction of the rainforest where we think Starflight will be. It takes us a short time to get to the rainforest and we land in the Nightwing community. We all start asking different Nightwings where Starflight was when Fatespeaker came bouncing up to us. I bend down and ask him the question.

"Hey Fatespeaker have you seen Starflight?"

"Yup he went to the old Nightwing kingdom to explore."

"Thanks Fatespeaker."

"Your welcome Glory."

We start flying towards the old Nightwing kingdom and land in front of the tunnel that was created by an animus so that we could quickly travel. We all fly through the tunnel and end up on the old deserted Nightwing kingdom. It still smelled of ash and dust and was very hot. We fly low to the  ground and I change my scales so that I look like a Nightwing. We fly around the remains of an old cave when we hear a rustling movement inside the cave. I fly down and land and inside the cave I see Starflight feeling around the cave and smelling since he couldn't see. He had gotten the hang of it, using his senses, that had grown stronger. He was so used to it that he could fly around and know if he was going to crash or not.

"Starflight!" Tsunami calls out.

"Hi Tsunami. Why are you guys here?" He calls bake to us.

"We need your help I'll explain on the way." I told him.

He nods and we all fly off together.
