Chapter 9

Macaw's POV

I stare up at the sky in the same spot that Amethyst disappeared. I keep on looking until my eyes hurt too much. I turned away and walked to the edge to look at Sapphire. She was crying. Not so much that she was balling but like someone just took something that she loved that belonged to her.

I look around at what might help her but then again, were in a prison in the air. I sit down and throw my tail down in a kind of light purple color. She looks up and smiles at me and hugs my tail. We both hear a whisper come from Utopia. I look towards her and she looks back at me then the sky. I look up and groan. 3 more Skywing guards are flying towards us. I yank my tail back up and it changes back to red. I sigh and sit straight up. Wings spread prepared to go wherever they wanted.

Starflight's POV

I start panting as Glory, Tsunami, Clay, Sunny and I race as fast as we could to the Skywing Kingdom. Ever since Glory told me the story of what happened we've been flying towards the kingdom. Sunny was helping me fly since I've never flown over an ocean blind. As we fly on Glory comes over and pulls me to the side.
"Starflight. I want you to really know how special these dragonets are."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because I believe in you to find a way to easily get them out of that heck of a prison."

"And...?"

She sighs. "I also need those girls to help me with something that could help all of Pyrrhia. Those dragonets are special, we need them alive."

It was my turn to sigh. I then face her the best I could.

"I'll help you Glory. I promise."

She probably smiled but I couldn't tell. We all slowly drift off to the side into a jungle to set up camp for the night. When everyone is asleep I get up and walk to the edge of the forest. I stare up into the moon and smile. Wishing I could see it once again.
