Chapter 15

Lyre's POV

We walk into the room and I look around finding the fastest way out. The door wasn't an option so I was looking for another way. I looked up at the roof. There! There was a small hole in the top. I could shoot my venom up through the hole then it would burn the part it landed on. While everyone was distracted I quickly looked up and shot the venom. I then sit back down next to Glory. Ruby sits down in front of us she starts talking. About halfway Ruby notices that I keep on looking at the roof and she shouts, her mighty voice getting the better of me. I close my eyes tight and clamp my ears down her voice hurting my ears.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and open my eyes to see Glory pointing at Ruby with her claw. I look back and pay attention to Ruby not wanting to anger her. She talks and talks and talks, question after question. She finishes and her last question was meant for me. She turned to me and said it. "Are your parents still alive."

My snout fell and I was saddened. All the memories of my parents time with me came flowing back. One day I was playing with them in the forest. I went off on my own to go find some berries since I liked berries. I waddled through the dense tree and found what I now call rainbow berries. I ate one and it tasted like hot mango's. I loved them! I started running back to where my parents were with a basket on the berries. When I reach the area I couldn't find them. I started crying and ran into the forest and just lived there ever since.

The present floods back into view. I shake my head to clear it of my thoughts. I look down and tears flow into my eyes.

"No..." I whisper

"What?" Ruby says sternly she wanted an answer.

"No one talks about my parents like that!" I yell and launch myself at Ruby. I scratch her and fly out of the room with Glory next to me and the guards on our tails. The 4 dragonets just stare at me in amazement. I start flying towards them and they get ready to fly. I yank the chains off the poles and fly towards Tsunami, Clay, and Starflight. I use my venom and get rid of their chains. I then sharply then and fly out of the palace with Amethyst, Sapphire, Macaw, Utopia, Glory, Clay, Tsunami, and Starflight.

Amethyst's POV

We landed far away from the palace into a dense forest. We walk for a while until we reach an opening and then a cave. There was a dragon sitting in there and I recognize her.

"Sunny!" I yip causing her head to fly up.

"Guys!" Sunny yells bounding towards us. She gives us each hugs, even Lyre, and then sits back down.

"Where did you guys go! You left me alone! Vulnerable to all danger out here! Why!" She yells at Starflight and Tsunami.

"Sorry. You were asleep when we left and we didn't want to wake you." Starflight says, hanging his head down.

"Well at least you guys are back. You four-" Sunny says pointing at me and my friends "Come on. I have something to show you."

My friends and I follow Sunny into the back of the cave leaving the other dragons stunned.

Ok sorry for the short chapter. It took me forever to write it then I kind of got writers block halfway through. So up for announcements.
1. I was an idiot and realized I cannot post videos I took from my phone on Wattpad and that they have to be on YouTube. I can't cause I don't have a channel so. :p if you want to view it I will be putting it up on my musical.ly very soon. As soon as my friend helps me put it up cause I'm having trouble. 2. If you have been on my musical.ly then you know what I look like. But for people who don't have one I have a suggestion for Wattpad . Let us post our own videos for people who don't have social media like most of us.
3. This book has almost hit 250 views and I am super pumped. I have then decided that for 300 and 400 views I will show you guys some of my art. I draw with pastels and watercolor and pencil/colored pencils.
4. This is the 15 chapter so I will take a few breaks from my book to write MCD x reader and The Encouraging Vial because I know some people really like those books *cough* KangarooLuv17 *cough*.
5. This is a really long authors note so gonna leave. So
