I put the key of my apartment on the key hole opening the door. i stepped inside on the wooden floor.

i kicked the door closed with my leg.

i was exhausted!

i took off my coat and went straight to my kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee.

after washing up a little bit and changing into my comfortable sweat pants.

I sat on my couch with my phone in my hand.

i set my coffee mug on the table beside me just to let it cool down a little bit.

I grabbed my note from the side of the couch.

Opening it, i read the last few words remembering what the last chapter was talking about.

I opened my pen and started writing down.

I was a huge fan of reading and writing.
I loved to read novels and stories, it taught me how to write a real novel correctly.

How to get the reader to be excited for the next chapter so they'd keep on reading the story and won't lose that excitement.

It took me a quite long time to learn to write that way.
The only things that i was sure about and saw in nearly every successful story/novel that i read is details.

Long boring details is important, but at the same time the author has to

work on not making it too boring so the reader won't just leave the book on the shelf.

The mystery behind the characters and their personal lives, the long conversations and stubborn decisions were really important as well.
-------------------------------------
I wrote down every word that came across my mind trying to make it a "perfect" novel.

It wasn't my first novel, and as i always do in my novels i put real events and real conversations and real things that happened in my life.

to escape my own mind from shouting at me, so i'd write it all down and make it in a form of a novel. So my mind would stop shouting and the reader would never know anyways.

I've always wanted my mind to stop yelling at me and blaming me for things, but it never actually yelled at me. I did.

3:45am
I sat with Emily at the beach.

Even tho we were both silent and there was no one near us.
I still heard my mind shouting a thousand word.

"I miss him" i said out of nowhere

"I know, but you have to move on" Emily responded fast

"You know that i can't, i've tried. I couldn't do it" i said hugging my knees

"You can. I believe in you" she said looking at me with her blue eyes. The yellow lamps of the street illuminating her face

"I wish" i whispered as i rested my back on the rocks

Looking up at the stars, i felt my eyes getting heavy.
I fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing into the shore.

I woke up at Emily shaking me awake
"Celine, wake up" she said

I opened my eyes to the light purple color of the sunrise

I groaned and looked at her, "what?" I asked annoyingly

"Let's go home so you'd take some rest. I'm going to college after a while i'm gonna drop you off at your apartment" she said.

I looked at her then back up at the sky. We stayed 2 minutes silent 'till i got up. Looking at the sea it was calm as usual.

Emily got up and held my hand.

We walked in silence but i was a little too awake to go home and sleep again

"Let's go to histoire d'amour and catch some coffee" i said
"Okay, you're not sleepy anymore?" She asked checking on me

"No, i'm fine" i said looking annoyed

Emily knew that when someone wakes me up i keep my frown on my face and words to myself.

We arrived there, i pushed the door open and saw Stevan and Jouhana with another girl.

"i'm going to order, you want the special?" I asked Emily as she sat on a table for two.

She nodded her head so i went to the Cashier, stevan.

"Morning Stevan" i said in a sleepy tone

"Morning" he smiled at me

"The usual for me and the special for Emily" i said Handing him the money.

"On the way" he smiled handing me the receipt and the change

I went over to where Jouhana was standing and rested my wrists on the counter

"Not used to seeing you in the morning" she said

"Good morning to you too" i said smiling

"You didn't come last night. Everything is alright?" She asked as she mixed my coffee

"Yea, i was at the beach you know my usual. Then i fell asleep and Emily woke me up when the sun started to rise" i said rubbing my eyes

"Oh, okay. I thought something was wrong. Oh by the way" she paused

"This is our new barista, Alexandra. She's gonna be helping me make the coffee for the customers" she added pointing at who seemed to be Alexandra behind her

"Hey Alex, i'm Celine" i said waving my hand

"Hey Celine" she responded

"I told her a lot about you" Jouhana said

I gave her a death glare.
She came near my ear
"Don't worry not personal things" she whispered in my ear

I nodded my head as she pulled away. Alex looked at us weirdly.

"Don't worry we're not gossiping about you" i said chuckling

She giggled and continued to make Emily's coffee

I took the coffee from them and went to Emily who was looking outside the windows.

"There you go" i said handing her her coffee

"Thanks," she said wrapping her hands around the hot coffee cup

"So, how is your story going?," she asked as i took a sip from my coffee cup

"It's going fine. I feel like it's a little messy tho" i said pulling my sleeves covering both of my hands.

"Why?" She asked

"I don't know. You know i always add true events that happened in my life into every story i write. So i just couldn't figure out the way to write it down correctly. So it's kinda of messy" i explained

"It's still about him?" She asked

I looked outside the window, "i'm trying to do a happy ending. But i think it'll never be a happy one in my life"
