Chapter 14

I slept like a baby that night but as usual nightmares had their share of my sleep.

4 days left
11:30AM

I woke up not really knowing where am i, 'till i realized i'm in my own bedroom.

I looked at the clock that's hanging over my laptop

11:30 it read.

"Shit" i cussed loudly as i got up grabbing my black jeans and red t-shirt

"Emily is gonna kill me" i said to myself as i put on my shoes and fixed my hair quickly

I took my car keys and phone and sprinted out of my apartment, i flew down the stairs and i honestly don't know how i managed to not fall off and break both of my legs.

I sprinted through the semi empty streets of Brighton 'till i reached the airport, and there was Emily standing next to a brown skinned, brunette with bright green eyes goddess, and i believe that was Louise.

I got out of the car and jumped on Emily hugging her making the two of us almost fall on the ground.

"Oh my god i missed you so so so much" I said hugging her tightly.

"I missed you too, but you're not forgiven for missing my flight" she paused pointing her finger at me. "Aaah fuck it, i missed you so much" She said hugging me tightly.

"Louise is gonna kill us, you know?" I whispered in her ear while we hugged

"Oh shit" she replied giggling and pulling away

"Louise, this is Celine. Celine, this is Louise" she said pointing at each one of us

"Hi, Louise." I said giving her a hug

"I'm glad i finally got to meet you, i heard a lot about you from Emily" she said smiling so brightly.

She was GORGEOUS 

"Oh i see you guys got so bored that you started talking about a boring person like me, thanks for your attention and time" I said jokingly while i started to put their bags in my trunk

"Oh stop it, idiot" Emily said getting in the passenger seat

Louise got in the backseat and i started my engine and took the long road home.

"So girls, what do you wanna do?" I said as i played Arctic Monkey's new album.

"Well, we need sleep first." Emily said making Louise nod, "Then we could do anything at night" she continued.

"Well, we could take Louise to our cafe, don't you think?" I said looking at Emily, making her look at Louise

"That'd be so much fun" She said smiling

"What cafe?" Louise asked

"It's our secret-not-so-secret spot that we spend most of our nights in, you're gonna love it." Said Emily

"Oh, also you're both staying with me" I said returning my eye gaze on the road.

"What? why?" Emily asked surprised as if i hit her with a truck

I raised my eyebrow as i turned my gaze to her, "What do you mean why? Cause i said so, i don't want to be staying by myself. so would you please accept my offer?"

There was a weird chemistry going on between the two of them. Each time Emily eyed Louise it just looked like she fell head over heels in love with her.

But Emily can't be gay right? I mean...she would've told me, right?

"Sure, why not" Louise said smiling

"See, she's good." Emily said making me giggle

I threw my apartment keys to Emily right before she sprinted her way up to my apartment as i helped Louise with their bags.

Emily was already laying face down on my bed when Louise and i entered the apartment.

I noticed Louise looking at her with a smile playing on her lips.

"I believe she's already in dreamland, and i suggest you join her too. You're probably exhausted," I said purposely interrupting her thoughts

"Yeah, i'll probably join her, but i need a shower first though, and something to eat, maybe?" She responded.

"The house is all yours" I paused, "I'll be back in a few hours, see ya" I said smiling at her as i left my apartment

"Could they?, in such a short time? What about Daniel?" I thought to myself as i started my car engine.

I drove my way to Destiny, i went inside and was greeted by Juliana,

"Hey, i missed you" She said with a huge smile on her face.

"Aw i missed you too, love. Is Sam here?" I asked looking around the extremely busy cafe

"Yeah, he's in the back" she answered

"I'll check on him then come to you, alright?" I said smiling as i left the counter making her nod.

I went to the back of the cafe to find Sam talking to a new face.
Seems like we have a new co-worker.

My shoes announced my arrival by the faint knocks they made on the wooden floors.

"Oh, hi there Celine. This is our new chef, Paul." He said pointing at him.

I smiled as i shook his hand, "welcome".

"I'm pleased to be here." He said with a gentle smile.

"I need to talk to you" i said to Sam.

"I'll be with you in a minute.

I left the back room and went into the cafe
After a few minutes Sam called my name so i ran in the back room where he was waiting for me.

"So, i've decided about Hawaii trip" i said noticing a hopeful expression forming on his face.

"I can't go, i'm sorry" i said fearing his heart would break in two.

"Oh, i really wished you could. It would've been fun." He said clearly disappointed

"Emily came today with her friend so i can't really leave them alone, you know" i said shrugging my shoulders.

"But they can right?" His words hurt like knives in my chest.

"Uh..i don't know" i stuttered

"Anyways, as you like. There's always more to come, and we could absolutely go any other time.
I just hope you're doing well Celine" he said as he left the room.

"Thanks..i guess" i said to myself.

I stormed out of the cafe my car across the street and had one thing in my mind.

I opened my passenger seat door and searched for my pack of marijuana cigarettes.

Marijuana has always been an old habit of mine.

I always run for them when i feel like my head is gonna explode from anger.

Once i found it i took off the wrapper from around the pack and took one out,

I took my first drag in almost a year, i felt the light smoke cover the insides of my mouth, making it's way through my throat as it burned it's walls.

I huffed the smoke out, and rested my back on my car.

I watched people come and go and eat and laugh inside of Destiny from where i stood, across the street as a drag followed a drag.

"Celine" a familiar voice said from next to me,

I looked to see it was Emily.

"Shit" i muttered to myself.
