An irked female slowly stalked towards the younger male."Two days later," Jake said sarcastically.
"Oi, I'm not that slow!" Ruby said irritated.
But I bet what you're going to tell me is, Jake thought.
"Hmph, may be I won't tell you the message anymore," Ruby said pouting.
"Alright," Jake beamed. "Bye!"
"Hell no!" Ruby grabbed him before he could flash away.
"Listen good Jake, I'm saying this once: Alpha said to go see him," her grip on his arm tightened. This was going to leave a mark. He could almost sense the animosity dripping from her countenance. "And never insinuate I'm slow again,"
Jake grinned, but said nothing, pulling away from her tight grip.
Ruby growled.
"Don't be like that Rubes. So are you going to tell me where Kyle is my or-"
Now, it was Ruby's turn to grin like a lunatic. She would enjoy annoying him.
"Wait a minute, I have to find him on my own, don't I?" Jake groaned.
Ruby nodded and blocked his path.
"What, are you an obstruction for me?" Jake sighed.
"Of course Jake! What fun would it be if I didn't ? You don't hate me for it do you?"
"Of course not!" Jake replied. "I just want to hit you with a chair...... made of iron..........and covered in spikes,"
The Beta glared.
The teenager smirked, running towards her.
Her legs parted, bent at the knee, turning her body sideways while her arms raised-one protecting her chest and torso, the other, her face. Jake jumped, grabbed her diagonal shoulders and flipped over her head. He landed on the ground and took off running.
Ruby's eyes widened at the rapid movement before she spun around and growled.
The boy laughed, as she chased him.
He ducked as her fist went towards his face, missing. It went through the nearby wall instead, leaving a cascade of dust, concrete and plaster to escape the new opening.
Jake looked at her now golden eyes in horror. She was going to destroy the entire building if she had to until she pulverised him. That was not going to happen, though. He didn't plan on getting hit. Parkour to the rescue!

Otto looked up as he heard crashing and breaking upstairs. He was on the ground floor, in the kitchen. He walked out, only to watch Jake grab unto the first floor railing and flip unto the ground floor.Jake got up from his crouched position, only to find the Otter staring at him.
"You do know, there are stairs, right?" The Gamma asked.
"Aw, come on, where's the fun in that Otter?" Jake jibed, mimicking Ruby and her famous catchphrase.
The man groaned. "What's going on up there?"
"Ruby."
"What the hell!"
"Kyle apparently set up this test, where I'm to find him and Ruby's an obstacle."
"Oh Goddess! Why are they doing this inside the house again? Hurry up and find him already! Do you want the entire building to go down?"
Jake sighed, then inhaled deeply. Taking in the different scents. Dave. Otto. The twins- the kid ones. Their mother. Ruby. Jonathan. Derikson. And everyone else's familiar scents in the main house. Such was the nose of a werewolf. Jake's nose was a bit more sensitive with him being a hybrid and all.
