Formulas and compounds, danced together in mad mathematical sequences until they fused into full equations.

The pen moved on its own while the mind of the owner was elsewhere.

The young hybrid had made a decision- one he would probably regret for the rest of his life- but a decision nonetheless.

He had consciously decided to switch places with Axel to talk with his wolf.

Thanks to him, the classroom was now a war zone of whispered threats and confusion and apparently, the cause of two fights after school.

Axel stopped writing and smirked, slowly twirling his pen around his fingers.

The discord in the class going on while the teacher was writing on the board, was delicious, to say the least. Negative emotions flourished.

Tch, Chemistry was boring anyway. His time would better be spent learning how to make bombs, instead of doing calculations.

It would help immensely.

For now, eradicating the little harmony in the class would have to amuse him.

"Axel, stop causing chaos!" Jake yelled.

"Tch, you knew what you were getting into when you left me in control of our body," Axel yawned. "Plus this isn't chaos, I'll show you chaos," he grinned, his eyes flashing red.

"NOO, stop!" Jake screamed.

"Stop what?" Axel said innocently, pausing the writing task he had given to the girl three seats to the left of him.

"Whyyy!" Jake bawled.

"Jake...." Luca said.

"Humans are so easy too- well people in general," Axel hummed.

"Axel stop it, before our personality shifts to dark completely," Luca growls.

"Says the Emperor of Darkness," Axel mumbles.

"Ooh, we are not finished. This isn't over," the wolf growled.

"Ok, class. Next class we do an experiment for acid- base titration, remember to collect your safety equipment on your way to class," the female teacher said as the bell rang.

Axel smirked as teenagers mobbed out, swearing at, or purposefully bumping into each other and making threats.

He picked up his black back pack and threw the pen and note book in.

Screw school.

A jingling sound caught his attention. A black bat trinket and a wolf key chain.

Axel smiled at the irony. "You know, Jake, I don't know if to label your cuteness as amusing or irritating as hell,"

"Um.......adorable maybe?" Jake said drawn away from his wolf for a second.

"Eh heh, you're not," his supernatural halves said together.

"Jeez."

"I'm going to rip them off one day," Axel simply said, slipping the pack on and heading towards the empty doorway.

"By the way, why have you two been on edge the whole day?" Jake asked.

"So it begins," Luca suddenly says.

"I guess so," Axel says "I can't believe I have to pause my feud with you,"

"Ok, I'm confused. What the-" Jake started.
