Red droplets, fell to the blue watery floor, creating violet ripples which vibrated throughout the entire room.
"You don't know how to manipulate natural energy yet! Stop and listen!"
Luca huffed in frustration, watching as his fist healed from his efforts to shatter the barrier. Transparent glass had blocked off his communication with Jake, the pane becoming thicker as his host grew weaker. He sighed and stepped back, swallowing to soothe the pain in his throat from screaming. The image of Jake on the other side was motionless. None of his words had gotten through to Jake. He had still engaged the Earth Man. There was no choice, but that did not mean, Jake could not have tackled the situation better.
He slid down the glass, creating even more ripples as he sat in the quiet dark room, the cyan watery floor being the only source of illumination. Electric blue eyes looked up as a familiar feeling of static and warmth permeated the air. Blue spheres of light filled the room, each with its own recordings and images, replaying constantly in a frenzy-filled loop.
Oh come on! Luca thought.
"He's already been kidnapped, how else would you like to make this worse you crazy witch!" he yelled, seemingly to the empty air.
Harsh static filled the air in warning, a bizarre humming that grew stronger every passing second. Luca screamed in pain as the noise reached a frequency that pounded into his brain, leaving his ears ringing. Some of the floating spheres burst, causing his body to contort in pain. He chuckled darkly through the pain, as his body slumped to its side.
"That's the best you can do? I'm disappointed that this is what divinity has sunk too,"
Blood leaked from his ears and nose as the frequency hit a crescendo, dark spots began covering his vision.
"You're even a sarcastic prick to forces we can't screw with. I don't know if this should be impressive or reasons to end it," a familiar voice spoke.
Luca sat up, coughing, trying to clear the dark spots from his vision as creamy feet entered his vision. "I don't back down. Death also might be a better sensation than what we're about to experience. You should've stayed asleep, at least numb our awareness to it,"
The blue crystal waters turned red as Luca sat up to face glowing ruby eyes.
"Decipher it,"
"I can't," Luca shrugged chuckling, as he listened to the static that remained.
"I'll take the heads up if you won't," he huffed at the wolf as the atmosphere lit up in a violet hue- the watery floor still red.
"Ugh," Luca groaned as he felt energy leave him, racing in broken lines beneath some of the spheres. The blue light reached up and surrounded them in cages.
Axel sighed as he concentrated, letting his aura surround the room. The ones that were not held, instantly vanished. One particular sphere grew brighter and turned red, before lifting from its confines and floating to the vampire and werewolf.
"Was that so hard?" Axel asked as he lifted the orb.
Luca sighed again as the sound of static ceased. " Are you happy, you crazy-you know what, screw you,"
There was another high pitched sound, causing all untouched orbs and energy to immediately shatter into a burst of light and blue crystalline sparkles.
"Wow, she has a temper," Axel stated.
"You have no clue," Luca muttered as he looked through the glass, the image of Jake, beginning to move around.
"Shit!" Axel and Luca gasped simultaneously.
