A/N This is a continuation from where Part I left off. Read on!

Axel sighed as they all came at him at once. He dodged but one of them managed to latch onto his left ankle, holding him in place in the air.

Another, dropped from the ceiling and latched around his right hand that was holding the axe, wrenching it from him and pulling his arm taut.

"Let go of me, you dark life sucking bastards," he growled his body bathed in red energy.

"So basically what vampires are?" the wolf quipped in his mind.

"Shut up! You'd better have a plan, puppy. These things are going to catch me- soon too," Axel thought watching them vaporize at his release.

"Did I mention, they love energy?" Miana called out.

More of them appeared, surrounding Axel.

This was going to be a pain.

How long could he dodge for? And how long until he could chop that smug look of the Witch's face?

"Um, puppy you'd better have that plan ready," Axel thought as the materialized shadows wrapped around him, holding him in place in mid- air.

He struggled briefly before relaxing. They would just drain him anyways. Energy comes from the soul. He wasn't about to give these bastards an appetizer.

Miana smirked. "Am I still disappointing you?"

"Eh. You're just getting annoying," Axel said plainly.

"I'm going to enjoy this."

"Which part?" Axel jibed "the part where you loose some of your lifespan or where I kill you?"

"No, the part where I rip your soul out for them to feed on in my place."

"Say what?" Axel said.

"Oh, don't worry this is only going to hurt- a lot," Miana said coldly as one of the shadows materialized in front of him.

"You're going to drain my life force?" Axel said unamused.

"No, I'm going to kill you."

The appendage wiggled in front of him. It shot towards him- his abdomen at lightning speed.

Axel gasped as it turned intangible and slowly entered him.

A burning, itching sensation shot through his body, consuming the boy.

On instinct, his limbs tried to retract to wrap around his body in the fetal position, to provide some protection but the appendages held him taut.

Heat slowly consumed, burning him- the intensity increasing with each passing second.

Axel struggled to breathe, as his lungs seemed to stop work, and his limbs went numb. It felt like his heart was slowing down painfully.

"How does it feel?" Miana smirked amused.

The boy winced as the appendage inside him shifted.

Pain started coursing through his body. Everything hurt.

His red aura slowly involuntarily surrounded his body.

The appendage slowly withdrew, absorbing the boy's energy and started pulling out his soul- but it didn't feel satisfied.

The soul wasn't complete. It wiggled around searching for the rest.

Axel screamed.

More pain shot through his body, overloading his senses.

Dissatisfied at it's fruitless search, it pulled out.

Axel struggled to regain his breath as the appendage left his body. He tried to move but the things on his limbs tightened their grip.

The one that had retracted slithered in front of him.

"Where is the rest of your soul, child?" a high, cracked, watery voice floated through his ears.

"What?" Axel gasped "You can talk?"

"We, boy. We are all one," the appendage- appendages rather said "We want the rest of you,"

Axel laughed as he and the wolf switched.

"Is this what you meant?" he laughed switching places as his eyes turned electric blue.

"No," the voice hissed. "You're still not whole. The other one as well,"

"Oh, you mean Jake?" the wolf asked "He's currently unavailable but you can leave message after the beep,"

"Boy."

" Nikros!"

The appendages slowly withered and dropped him, as blue energy slowly extended across the room.

The wolf smirked, as he dropped lightly to his feet and listened Miana's gasp.

He walked towards her slowly, each fingernail extending to form claws.

"Don't worry I'll make this quick," he said "You can't do anything anyway. This is the consequence of using black magic, but I'm sure you learned from that mistake since it's the last one you'll ever make,"

Miana crashed through the floor and coughed blood as her body made contact with the floor beneath them. A large claw mark spanning her chest.

The wolf looked down through the gaping hole he had caused, at the pitiful female.

He switched places with Axel. Vampires did not need to sense him.

Axel smiled and summoned knife before jumping through the hole.

"How does it feel?" he mocked, standing over her.

Miana gasped as pain was coursing through her.

"You're much better like this- silent," Axel remarked before plunging the knife down.

Suddenly, hands grabbed him, preventing the action. He was pulled against someone's chest.

His body instantly relaxed, and he let Jake surface. It was useless now. He always awoke to meet them which pissed Axel off, but he gave up fighting it long ago. Just let it happen.

Jake relaxed into his sister's grasp. He could feel relief bouncing off her in waves. It was comforting.

"Cassie," he murmured before letting darkness consume him. He was full of pain and felt exhausted.

Cassandra grasped unto her younger sibling. He was fine and alive. Relief flooded through her.

She looked down at Miana. "I am going to make you regret living," she said coldly as weapons surrounded her "You shall soon wish I should have let him kill you,"
