Rumor Has It *Nalu*

Chapter Nine

*Another short chapter because I didn't really feel like making a long one today*

After calling Wendy and letting her know what was going on, Natsu and the others finally reached Magnolia Hospital. Wendy being Wendy, wanted to be there also. She didn't want to go alone so met up with Romeo and when lunch started, they both left the school and headed to the hospital.

The group of friends waited for the two to show up before they went to see Lucy. Erza went up and asked the lady what room the blonde's in so they can just head up there when ready. After learning the number and another little detail, she headed back to the group and sat in a chair waiting for the middle schoolers to get there. After waiting around for 10 minutes, the last two people showed up and the gang headed for the elevator.

"Her room is 352 but the problem is, she can't have more than two visitors at a time" questions started popping up before the red head could finish. Sighing angrily, she looked up and sent a glare that silenced everyone. "If you would've let me finish, I could've told you the reason" clearing her throat, everyone let her continue "The friend of Lucy is in the room too as the nurses thought it would be okay for her when she woke up. Her friend was in a bad crash and can't have many people in the same room as the room isn't that big in the first place. So we might as well figure out who goes in first. Okay?"

People muttered an agreement and left the elevator once the doors opened. Walking to the room, Erza stood in front of everyone and claimed that Natsu and Wendy were to go in first. Protests were about to be shouted before they were shut down with a glare. The two entered the room and looked at the blonde. It turned out that she was awake but was wrapped in a blanket and sat in a chair by Virgo's bed.

At the sound of the door opening, she looked up and smiled lightly. "Hey you guys, what are you doing here?" It was hard to hear since she was still sick and her throat was a little scratchy but the duo still heard her. They sat down in the chairs on the other side of the bed and looked at her.

"We heard you were in the hospital so we came to see if you were okay" Lucy smiled in response and waved the two over to the chairs next to her.

"So, who's this?" Natsu asked looking at the injured Virgo lying next to him.
Lucy's face fell a little so Natsu grabbed her hand and squeezed it a little. She smiled lightly and explained that Virgo was once her maid but is a very close friend of hers. The duo was a little confused as to why she would need a maid but everyone was different.

"I'm sorry about all of this" Wendy said with a sad smile. Natsu squeezed her hand lightly in agreement. The door opened quietly and Erza popped her head in, letting them know that their time is up and it was someone else's turn to enter the room.

Confused, Lucy watched the two leave in exchange for Levy and Gajeel and smiled at the two who entered.
