*Short chapter*
°Normal pov°
It was around midnight when she got the call. As usual, the blonde was up late reading a book so it didn't wake her up. When she answered the phone, a doctor spoke immediately and told her things no child would want to hear. She was all alone. Sure she had maids and such, but that wouldn't fill the hole that her parents left. After all, she was only 11 when her parents had died.
*Time skip 6 years*
"Princess?" A knock sounded throughout the quiet apartment.
"It's time to wake up now, you don't want to be late for your first day, do you?" Called a pastel pink haired maid.
After losing her parents, Lucy didn't want to stay in her huge house. She let the maids and butlers go, well, all except one. Virgo decided to stay with Lucy. Said girl didn't mind as she liked the company the maid brought her.
"5 more minutes, Virgo" exclaimed a sleeping blonde. She happened to stay up late reading one of the newer books and couldn't seem to put it down after reading the first 5 chapters.
After a couple minutes of silence, the blonde threw the blankets off her warm body. Sitting up and placing her feet on the cold floor, she headed towards her bathroom to get ready for the long day ahead of her.
Another knock sounded throughout the room. "Lucy? Are you ready yet?" Asked a curious Virgo.
Opening the door to leave, Lucy ran into her. "Yeah, let me eat and then I'll head out" Replied the blonde.
'I hope today goes well' she thought nervously as she left out the front door and headed off to school.
