*The picture makes my heart hurt😭*

°Normal pov°

It was a peaceful morning. Well, as peaceful as having a loud snore in your ear. That was the first thing Lucy heard as she woke up that morning. Sighing, she pushed the pink haired boy away and got up. Hesitating to put her bare feet on the cold floor, she stepped out of bed and stretched. Looking around, she noticed Wendy at the end of her bed and the cats once again, in her hamper.

'Maybe movie nights should stay in the living room from now on' with a sigh, she headed into her bathroom to get ready for the day. Before getting ready, she heard her phone ringing and decided to answer it before it woke the sleeping dragons, as they were both snoring like they were one.

"Hello?" While quietly answering, she left the room in order for the person on the other end of the line to hear her better.

"Lucy?"

°Lucy's pov°

My heart stopped for a second as I realized who was talking to me. Tears began forming in my eyes when she continued speaking and in that moment, I forgot there were two other people staying with me. Still in my pajamas, I ran out the door. Not hesitating to stop and close, which I really should have, I ran without looking back. Going to the place where my feet led me, I opened the door and a smile broke through along with newly found happy tears.

"Virgo?"

*3rd POV*

Said pinkette looked up after hearing the familiar voice. "Lucy, you just have a habit of running here barefoot and in your pajamas, don't you?" She said with a light laugh.

Giggling slightly, Lucy nodded and moved closer to the hospital bed. "When did you wake up?"

"I woke up early this morning but I waited to call because I had nurses running around and checking up on things and doctors doing the same so I wasn't able to call when I first woke. I was also a bit disoriented so I wouldn't have made much sense if I did call anyways." She answered with a giggle at the end.

Lucy smiled as she heard it and couldn't wait as she launched herself out if the chair and into Virgo's waiting arms. With Lucy being the big softy that she is, she started crying again while Virgo rubbed her back and whispered soothing words like a mother would to her sad child.

Lucy ignored her constantly vibrating phone because she simply didn't care about anything other than Virgo's health.

Noticing this, Virgo took the phone from the still sobbing girl and answered it once it started ringing again. "Hello?"

"Uh..is Lucy there?"

"Yeah, just give me a moment"

Nudging the girl silently, she pushed the phone into her hands and mouthed the word 'boy' while getting up and using the walker that was by the bed and headed to the bathroom.

Wiping at her eyes, Lucy looked at her phone and noticed that Natsu was the one who had called her so many times, with the accepting of Wendy of course.

"Natsu?"

"Lucy? Where are you? Why did you suddenly leave? Why didn't you tell anyone or write a note?"

"Well, I'm at the hospital, Virgo woke up and I may have rushed out the door in my pajamas again because I couldn't wait"

"Didn't you learn the last time that you shouldn't be doing that?"

"Yes, well, it wasn't raining this time. Anyway, I'll be home soon so why don't you and Wendy just eat some breakfast or go back to sleep. I'll text you when I'm leaving"

"Promise?"

"I promise, Natsu. Now I have to go, I have to talk to the nurse about when she's able to leave, I'll see you later"

"Alright, bye Lucy"

"Bye Natsu"

*Lucy's pov*

'Well that was a bit embarrasing' i thought as I saw Virgo come out with a small smirk on her face.

"So..a boy, huh?"

"Oh, hush it"

*I figured since I skipped first hour, I'd fix up this chapter and make it a bit longer so I hope it's better than what it was. I haven't felt like writing or knew what to write but I hope it's okay.-.*
