Lucy transferred to a new school after the death of both parents. Although depressed, she played it off and acted as if everything was alright. The first day, she noticed something strange about one of the students. He had pink hair and always wore...
Prom was tonight and the girls were coming over later to get ready. I had to kick Natsu out so I can clean the house before everyone got here then I jumped into the shower. Once I got out, the house phone was ringing so I rushed to answer it.
"LUCY" pulling the phone slightly away from my ear as I cringed, I looked at the number and sighed.
"Yes, Natsu?"
"What time are we supposed to pick you all up?" After face palming, I told him 6:30 as Erza wanted to get there before people started eating the cake.
We said our goodbyes and I went back to putting my pajamas back on. Mira said I didn't have to change into anything and I can lounge around until they get here because they didn't want to get started without me. She wanted to spend a little extra time on me because I was the only one out of the group who wasn't in a relationship but she was always mumbling 'nalu' and would send me glares when I would ask what that meant.
Instead of knocking like normal people, the girls slammed the door open while singing some song and then ran to my kitchen. 'Why is it always me?' I thought as I walked into the room only to see a mess.
"You guys literally just got here and there's food everywhere. How does that happen?" And then all at once, they pointed to Erza who glared at them all. I sighed at told them to clean up so we can get ready and they just rushed out of the room and left the mess to me.
'Real mature' was my thought as I grabbed the broom and trashcan.
°Mira's pov°
"Was it right to just leave her with the mess, Mira?"
"Erza, we can't snoop through her room if she's with us. Besides, how else were we supposed to find any evidence of my favorite ship" was my reply as I looked through Lucy's drawers. We heard her footsteps coming down the hall so everyone rushed to her bed and jumped onto it. Me being the first one on, was soon crushed by three others in the haste.
The door opened to show a surprised Lucy and we all just kind of waved while she just rolled her eyes and walked to her closet. The girls and I all got our dresses out and decided on doing Levy first. In order to not mess her dress up, we did her hair and makeup first. Levy's hair was straightened and I slightly curled the ends.

Juvia was next as she couldn't wait any longer. She didn't want a lot of makeup and only wore mascara with a little bit of eyeshadow and blush. I curled her hair and put it in an updo. I grabbed a headpiece and put it on to go along with her dress.

I quickly curled my hair and let my bangs down. I did a smokey eye and put on my dress. I wanted a short one so I could dance easily and I didn't want a chance to trip over everything.

Erza was next and she already did her makeup while waiting and even did Lucy's. I put her hair up in a pony tail and curled the ends of her straight scarlet hair.

Last but not least, Lucy. She wanted us to hurry because we had 45 minutes left. I dropped what was in my hands because I didn't notice the time. I had to do extra work on her if I wanted my ship to sail tonight. I quickly pushed her into the chair and curled her hair. Erza gave her a bit of a smokey eye and it looked really good. I gave her red lipstick and finished the look with a light blush.

After we were all ready, I pulled out my phone and tapped the camera icon. I set it up to where all of us were in the picture and then set a timer. I rushed all the girls to me and we posed and everything. After another 5 minutes, the boys came. Each pair had their picture done and then we headed out the door to see the limo sitting there.
°Lucy's pov°
"You look beautiful, Luce" Natsu said as he held my hand to help me inside. I blushed immediately and said thank you.
The ride there was full of chatter and complements along with pictures and silly videos. By the time we got there, couples were flooding through the doors. We all followed through and stood in awe of what the gym had turned into. Teachers were here and there while Cana was by the punch bowl. Natsu and I went to the focus on the food table while everyone else dispersed into their own little groups.
After we finished all the different snacks they had, or at least Natsu did because he wouldn't let me finish as he immediately grabbed my hand when a slow song started, we went out onto the dance floor with all the couples. Natsu held my waist and pulled me closer while I had my hands lightly wrapped around his neck and we just kind of swayed along with the music.
Natsu stared at me while I looked around but finally went and looked into his eyes. The light blush I had before, grew immensely as he started leaning in. I snapped out of my little shock and my eyes fluttered closed as his lips landed on mine. It didn't last long but after he pulled away, he said the words that made me melt.
"I love you, Luce"
"I love you too, Natsu" and I pulled him down for another kiss while Mira squeals were drowned out by the next song playing.
