Ch18

Roman's Pov

When I saw Raven on the ground motionless my heart sunk. I ran to her and nudged her with my nose. She didn't move. I whined but my whining stopped. I snarled and went after the guy who shot her. Dean and Seth were behind me. I had the slayers scent locked down. Every time I breathed it in I gotten angrier. I was closer to slayer but his sent disappeared. I sniffed the ground and trees trying to find the scent.

I grew frustrated by the minute. I clawed at the trees and paced the forest floor. Dean and Seth caught to me and saw the carnage. "Dude calm down." Seth said via mind link. I growled at Seth and he backed down. "Roman,Seth is right. While you're running through these forests like a mad dog trying to find a slayer that is long gone, Ravens battling for her life after she gotten shot by an arrow covered with Wolfsbane and a mystery poison." Dean piped up.

I stopped pacing and looked at Dean. My temper went down and my thoughts went to Raven. I sat down and whined. Raven is battling for her life and I'm here having a damn fit. I should be there,comforting her,telling her she'll pull through. That's what a Alpha do for a Luna,for the love of my life. Wait..did I say the love of my life? You know what I'm not going to hide it no more. Raven is the love of my life. Yea were different and known each other for 5 days but I don't care. There's something pulling me towards her and it was a good something.

I got up and looked at Seth and Dean. "Let's go now!" I said. We ran through the forest and picked up our clothes. When w arrived there Warez, Aidan and Vatani were still here. We shifted and put are clothes back on. I started to charge at Warez but Seth and Dean stopped me. "Why the hell are you still here?!" I growled. Warez stayed silent plus by the look on his face he's been crying. "Our mom told us to bring you three to Raven's house once your back to normal." Vatani said. I kept staring at Warez. This is all his damn fault.

Aidan stepped between us. "Look you can keep hating Warez but Raven needs us now." Aidan said. I nodded and followed them to the car. Dean and Seth were behind me. We claimed in Vatani's SUV and she dove off. In 15 minutes we arrived at Raven's house. I was the first one to get out and made a beeline for the door. I felt Raven's weak presence and my wolf whined. She was going in and out. I banged on the door repeatedly until the door opened reveling Becky with a towel in her hand.

"Finally you're here. Where's the others?" She asked moving out the way so I can come in. "They're getting out the car...were is she?" I asked. "She's upstairs in her room. She's been going in and out." Becky said filling a bowl with water. From the corner of my eye Dean,Seth,Aidan, Vatani and Warez walked in. Warez sat on the sofa and put his head in his hands. I shook my head and ran upstairs. I followed Raven's scent to her room. I knocked on the door and Raven's mom opened it. "I sensed you were here. She's been going in and out. Then her pulse became steady when you arrived." She said walking back to a unconscious Raven.

I walked in her room and saw Raven motionless on her bed. There was barely color on her face and arms. My heart became heavy and and my wolf cried. "Roman I sense you sadness. You being here is helping her get out of this." Arie said. I walked over to the other side of Raven's bed and sat down. I grabbed Raven's hand and held it tight. "Ravens a fighter. Even though she sacrificed herself,she'll still pull through. Hell even when she first opened up her eyes I saw a fighting spirit that will never stop fighting." Arie said sitting down.

I looked at Raven and smiled. "That's what I love about her. She keeps up a good fight." I said playing with Raven's hand. I looked up Arie to see her smiling. "You love my daughter Roman and your love for her is very strong. You two's future together is very bright. Please...protect her and love her with all your heart because the love that you two have helps her magic. With out it,her magic turns dark and the darkness will destroy all in its path." Her mom said. I understood and nodded at her request.

The door soon opened up revealing Dean,Seth,Aidan,Vatani,Becky,and Warez. Vatani and Aidan ran to Raven's bed and fell by the edge of the bed. "Oh my gosh! How is she?" Vatani asked. "She's doing fine since Roman arrived." Arie smiled. Vatani smiled weakly and nodded. "We can't just stay here and let Raven's attacker roam around freely. We need to track him,find him,and question him on why did he shoot Raven." Aidan said. Every one agreed on Aidan's statement.

"Then its settled. Since its 4 in the morning everyone is sleeping. This is our chance to find the slayer." Vatani said getting up. Arie walked over to me and put her hand on my shoulder. "Roman will stay here and watch Raven. His presence is keeping Raven in a good state." Everyone nodded and went down stairs. "I performed a spell that cleared some of the poison in her system. She'll be alive and well in a couple hours." She said leaving.

When the door close I just sat there in silence. Although I hate seeing Raven like this bit she look beautiful and peaceful. I brushed a strand of her beautiful,black,long hair behind her ear. Just to think 5 days ago we met in a bar/club. Her beautiful hazel green eyes stared into my icy grey ones. She was sticking up for her friend Boomer. Calling me a bitch in the process. I have to tell ya the girl got guts and a lot of fight in her.

I laughed at the moments we had. She always save me when I and my friends were in trouble. "I don't know how to say this because I'm not that good with words but ever since the first day I felt tingly in your presence. Its been only 5 days and you have me feeling this way. My wolf was on edge at first but it calmed down. He gotten used to you very quickly. When you told us that you were a hybrid I just grown fond of you so quickly myself. Every thing about you intrigued me. Every time your near I just want to hold you tight and never let you go. You're like the light to my darkness. You tame the beast that's in side me. You make me feel safe. I thank your mom for giving birth to you because if it wasn't for her I would never ever have a chance to meet and be with someone so special. I thank the Light Goddess as well. As of right now I don't care what my dad,Moon Goddess and the pack will think of my choice in mate and future Luna but I choose you for it. Not only because your care and love but also you're strong hearted and your fighting spirit. You'll do anything for anyone's safety. You showed me that when you took a bullet and a arrow for me. That arrow could have killed you but we're both lucky it didn't. I don't know if you're listening but I mean all of this. I do. Your mom told me that our future together is very bright and I agree one thousand percent on that. Just to think having a little me and you running around. I'll be the most happiest werewolf in the world. Raven Ria Hunter I want to protect you with everything I have. The word like and care doesn't even cut it. Raven I love you and I'll do anything to keep you." I said.

After that whole speech I didn't know that I was crying. One of my tears fell and hit Raven's hand. I wiped my tears and held her hand tighter. I never thought I would fall heads over heels for a beautiful hybrid in only 5 days. I kissed her hand and rubbed her knuckles. "I love you Raven Ria Hunter. Please wake up." I said. I laid back next to her,my back and head to the back board. It was now 5:00am. My eyes were getting heavy and I was about to go to sleep but then I felt Raven squeezed my hand lightly. My head snapped to her direction. She lightly squeezed my hand again. "I love you too."
