Roman Pov

My dad,mom and I walked out to the courtyard to see all of the pack members sitting down and some were socializing. My mom really outdone herself this time. Of course with help from some of the pack. There was a stage in the middle of the yard that my dad uses for pack meetings. We walked up the stairs and my dad walked to the microphone. Everyone else was went quiet. "Members of the Eclipse Pack,we are gathered here tonight to celebrate a remarkable moment to remember. Every few years an Alpha's son grows and reaches the age of finding a mate. A wolf's mate is chosen by the Moon Goddess herself. This time, my son Roman has found his mate. Once he mark and mate with her,they'll be the new Alpha and Luna of this pack."

I stepped up and my dad stepped to the side. "My son Roman is your future Alpha." My dad said trailing off. I looked to my right to see Jon and Josh escorting Raven on the stage. Everyone have I took her hand in mine and smiled at her. She smiled back. "Roman's mate is Raven Hunter and shes your future Luna." I smiled and kissed Raven. She kissed back. Some of the members cheered and some stayed quiet. Kate was cheering with Trinity. The cheering kept going on until someone yelled. "Are you serious?! You people can't possibly believe that that non wolf is Roman's mate!"

I turned my attention to non other than Tori. Tori was in my hunting school when we were kids. When we turned into adolescents she told me she liked me but I turned her down. Then she went around and told everyone that we were together. Talk about false claim. I brought Raven close to me because I knew how this will end. "A werewolf can't have a non wolf as a mate. It's the rules of the pack. Only the Moon Goddess picks the mates. Besides look at her. Shes weak,pathetic and useless. She'll never be Luna." She said. My anger grew when she said that. Tori doesn't even know Raven so why's she judging her. Raven wasn't even phased.

"Tori,your outburst is unacceptable. Show some respect." My mom said. "Luna Patricia all do respect but,don't you see she's a non wolf? She probably have a connection with slayers of something. I refuse to be led by a non wolf as Luna and I won't accept this weakling as Roman's mate. By the looks of it she won't even last three days with Roman and in this pack." I growled at her and was about to confront her but Raven squeezed my hand. "Tori you have no say in what I do. As much as I don't want to do this but you're irrelevant to my relationship life. I will not let you talk about Raven like that. She's my mate. I love her no matter what. No matter if she's different. I will always love her." I growled.

My mom and dad smiled at my words. Raven looked at me and smiled. I kissed her softly and everyone awed. Tori grew more and more angry. Her eyes turned red and her canines grew. Then she took her wolf form. Everyone backed up from Tori. She snarled and stalked her way towards Raven and I. My wolf snapped and I took form of my wolf. I jumped of the stage and held my grown. I was bigger than Tori so I have the advantage. From the corner of my eye I saw Kate running to Raven. Raven was already next to me. With all of my growling and snarling I placed my dominance while Tori submitted and whined. Tori gazed at Raven and growled. She tried creeping towards Raven but I blocked her path.

"Roman,stand aside." Raven spoke up.
I looked at Raven and gave her a confused whine. She gave me a look but I did what she asked. Only because I was interested in what she was going to do. Once I moved aside,Tori crept towards Raven. They were at eye level. Tori gave a low, threatening growl but Raven wasn't phased. She stopped growling and just stared at Raven. Then something happened. Tori whined,took a step back and bowed at Raven feet. I looked at the pack members and they were bowing too. Tori ran inside and I believe she ran up to her room. I walked to Raven and nuzzled her. She put her hand on my head and started to pet me. Everyone else cheered and chanted Raven's and my name. My mom and dad walked to us and and hugged us. "You two will be great leaders. I can see it now." My mom said. My dad nodded in agreement. I nudge Raven into the direction of the PackHouse only because I had to change. Tonight went well. In a confrontational way.
