Ch35

Raven Pov

Pain that was shooting through my leg caused me to wake up.  I looked around to see that I'm in Roman and I's room. I tried moving but I received more pain. "Raven don't move so much. You're gonna make it worse." Trinity said. I pulled myself up against the headboard and sighed. "How bad is it?" I asked. "On a scale to 1-10...I say that its a 5. Roman did some damage to your ankle. You did some damage to his ankle as well." Trinity said.

I looked at my bandaged up ankle shook my head. "Roman was petrified of what he did. Once we brought you here, Roman kept an eye on you. When I was bandaging your ankle, Roman stayed. I told him that you'll be out for a while. He wouldn't move so I told him that you'll be ok." She said. "So where is he now?" I asked. "He's interrogating Sami and the other wolf." She said. "Trinity, Sami saved me from Invidia. She was going to kill me but Sami chased her off." I said.

Trinity sighed and sat next to me. "Raven, Sami and Roman have a history of hatred. Sami doesn't give a damn about how Roman feels. He probably saved you only to use you as an advantage to get to this pack and I don't know if you noticed but he did." She said. "Trin I'm telling you. He's not trying anything. Think about it, if he hates Roman so much he would have left me for dead. He told me that he put an end to his meaningless killing. He befriended a nomad wolf, which is the wolf that's with Sami. Plus, he hates Kevin more. If I can trust him, then you and Roman can too." I said.

Trinity stayed quiet for a minute. Even though Sami was a rouge in the past, doesn't mean he can change in the future. I see good and Sami and I believe that he'll be a great ally with the pack and Roman. "Raven, I understand that. Roman on the other hand is hard to convince. Plus when it comes to you, Roman will not listen to anyone that thinks differently about you're safety." She said. I was going to say something but I was cut off buy horrible pain.

I was screaming from the top of my lungs. My back arched off the bed and I was gripping on the sheets tightly. Trinity held me down and looked scared. "No no no... Roman! Guys!" Trinity yelled. I felt my blood burning and I was breathing rapidly. Roman and the guys came in and started to panic. "Jon. Josh, go tell the doctors in the ER part of the PackHouse that we're bring Raven immediately." Roman said. Jon and Josh left, leaving me with Trinity, Dean, Seth and Roman. Roman picked me up and brought me out the room.

On the way to the emergency room, Roman's parents saw us and came with us. "Roman what happened?" Ms Patricia asked. Roman stayed silent. When we arrived, the emergency room workers took me from Roman and put me on a bed. They injected me with a serum and I was out.

Roman Pov

I sat next to Raven and I couldn't take my eyes off of her. All of that screaming was part of the transformation. I didn't want to turn her. I didn't know what would happen if I did. Tears formed in my eyes and I scolded myself in my head. "Roman what happened?" My dad asked. I looked up at my mom and dad and  sighed. "Raven and I were fighting. And I was in my wolf form and she was in a mountain lion form. My wolf clouded my humanity side and I bit her." I said. My mom and dad were shocked but I just stayed silent.

I didn't know what my bite would do to her. She could loose her powers or worse. "Roman, why don't you just let the transformation continue? Having Raven as a werewolf can me good for the pack. Plus she'll have her powers. She'll be powerful." My mom asked. "Mom I can't. I don't know what kind of effects can show up. She can lose her powers or worse. I can't lose her. I love her so much that I would do anything for her." I said.

I grabbed Raven's hand and held it tight.  A tear fell down my cheek and didn't let go of her. One half of me didn't want her to change. The other half did. Having her as a werewolf have so many pros and cons that the temptation of finding out was strong.
My mom and dad sat by the door and stayed quiet. Dean, Seth, and Trinity sat in the other side.

A moment later one of the doctors came in and he had a look on his face. And that look wasn't easing the tension in the room. "Alpha, Luna, Roman and Betas." The doctor started. I looked up but stayed in my seat. "Do you have a update on my son's mate?" My dad asked. He hesitated and my dad became agitated. "Well?!" My dad said. "Alpha, she's on stage two of the transformation. We're trying to contain the wolf DNA but because she's different and her blood type is protecting Roman's wolf DNA."  He said. My dad was silent and he looked at my mom and I.

I was going to say something but my mom piped up. "Is there anything we can do?" She asked. "I'm sorry Luna. Her blood type is protecting Roman's wolf DNA. We treated it with an antibiotic but her body kept rejecting it. I believe that what ever type of bond that Roman and his mate has, I believe that they'll accept it." He said.
I looked at Raven and held her hand tightly. I felt something go off. Raven's and I bond...grew stronger. Even though I haven't marked her yet, but it happened.

I was so distracted by her that I didn't notice my dad calling me. "Roman, are you even listening son?" He asked. I shook my head no. "Well the doctor said we, well more like you have only one choice. Since Raven is a sorceress and her DNA is protecting your DNA, you can finish up her transformation process by biting her and marking her yours. Roman it will make more sense if you did it. She's already on stage two." My dad said. I thought for a moment and sighed. "I'll do it." I said.
The doctor nodded and went back to his office. My dad put his hand on my shoulder and sighed. "Its going to be alright son. Just be there for her when the change is complete. Teach her everything you know about being a werewolf. Be there when she goes through her first transformation, ok." My dad said before leaving and my mom followed. I sighed and raked my hair with my hands. This is going to be hard, real hard.
