Marinette sat on a chair on her roof, drawing a stench of a girl wearing a beautiful red dress and white heels. She sighed as she leaned her head back and stared at the blue sky of Paris. She should've known that Adrien would see her cuts, it was bound to happen.her heart raced at the thought. Who would he tell? Chloe? A teacher? She sighed shakily as her hear continued to speed up and she felt herself panicking.
God, please not another panic attack! Marinette tried taking deep breaths, which helped her to calm down. She massaged her temples as she began to relax, heart slowing back to normal pace and body no longer shaking. Her bluebell eyes drifted towards the sky, where the sun was beginning to set. Marinette sighed again and went back to sketching.

Adrien held his breath as he snuck down the stairs, his drunken father passed out on the couch. Slowly, he crept across the grey marble floor of his house, his shoes making little sound as he snuck over to the door, his mind only thinking of seeing Marinette. His hands reached towards the handles of the door, the cold golden metal making him shiver. Slowly he turned the knob and quietly opened the doors, allowing a light warn breeze to flow into the room. Gabriel stirred in his sleep, making Adrien turn around and freeze. Gabriel simply shifted the way he was laying before continuing to snore.
Adrien sighed as he quickly went outside, closing the door as quietly as began his long walk.

The sun was about halfway down, the sky now painted with little glimpses of pink, purple, blue and orange. Adrien walked, mainly with his head slightly down to avoid people noticing him (AN because the show and this story is literally based off how oblivious every single character is). His eyes lifted from his shoes when he heard cries for help in front of the school stairs."Please help! My back, I can't stand." A man laid on the ground, his cane too far away for him to reach with his hurt back. People walked right by him, ignoring his cries for help. That is, until a young man grabbed the mans cane and handed it to him as he helped him stand.
"Oh, thank you young man." He said, smiling at the boy.
"No problem sir." Adrien said, smiling at him kindly. "I hope your back feels better." The older man smiled at Adrien as they parted ways. Wayzz laid on Fu's shoulder.
"One down, one left." Fu whispered to Wayzz.

The bell of the Dupain-Cheng bakery ringed as Adrien walked in, taking in the scent of croissants, bread, and cookies. He smiled, remembering how much he had loved this place growing up."Adrien what a surprise!" Someone said. Adrien turned his head and met eyes with Sabine Dupain-Cheng, Marinette's mother. She gave him a warm smile as she walked over to him, wiping her hands on a pink cloth. "It's been so long! How have you been?" Adrien couldn't help but smile back at her.
"I've been great, Mrs. Duping-Cheng. How about you?"
"I've been wonderful, and please, call me Sabine." Adrien took a deep breath.
"Is Marinette here? I want to talk to her about...erm, possibly teaming up for future school projects!" Adrien didn't want to lie, but he had no idea if Marinette's parents knew about her cuts or what's been happening the last few years of school. Sabine nodded.
"You can go check her room. If she's not up there, she's probably on her deck. Just go straight through the back door and up those stairs, then there will be another stair case that leads to her room once you get into the living room. There will be a ladder that leads to her deck." Adrien did as she said, giving her a quick smile as he walked away.
Adrien made his way up the first stair case and found the second one when he entered their living room. The smell of cookies was faint as he made his way up the staircase to her room,
"Mari?" He asked when he reached the top of the stairs. "Are you here?" He climbed up the last few stairs to see her neat room. Her bunk bed say in the corner, with a desk as the bottom half. Book shelves and fashion posters covered her walls. Yet there was no sign of Marinette.
