This chapter is dedicated to donutandfries for putting my baby's Sam and Dean in a Miraculous Ladybug story. Her work is also very beautiful and enjoyable, please check out her account😉

Chloe POV
I had planned to go see Marinette, but Sabrina and I had a lot of catching up to do. And some school work we helped each other with. It felt great to have Sabina back, but this time as a true friend.

"Hey, have you seen Marinette yet?" I asked Sabrina. She shook her head

"Not yet, but we could go see her today, if it's ok?" I nodded, slowly standing up. We grabbed out light jackets and stepped outside.

FLASHBACK
I watched Marinette skip into class, her eyes filled so joy. A joy I hated. She thinks she's so perfect and everything.

"Hey gurl!" Alya said, looking at Marinette. I scoffed and turned away, pulling out my phone.

"I can't believe fall is here!" Marinette said happily. "The summer breeze mixed with the cool air, the changing leaves! It's so beautiful!" I scoffed again, but didn't bother trying to waist my time coming up with a retort.

As I scrolled through my messages, I cam across one from my best friend Adrien.

Adrien-Hey Chlo! Guess what, I'm going to your school this year!;)
Chloe-OMFG Adrien that's amazing! I can't wait to see you!
Adrien-I'm sorry but I have to cut this convo short, got a photoshoot. Plus I don't want to bother you since your at school! I'll be coming next week. :)
Chloe-Thats great Adrien! Can't wait! ;)

I looked over at Marinette, then turned my head and looked around the room. Then I noticed something. Nino and Nathaneal were all looking at Marinette from a distance, dreamily. No one looked at me like that.

I knew from the moment Adrien and I stopped texting that she was going to fall for him when he came. And I vowed to never let that happen.

END FLASHBACK
I stood on the steps to my house, taking in the summer breeze. It was a cool day but the breeze made it a bit warmer. The trees by my house were already covered with yellow, red and orange leaves. There were a few green ones hidden, but not many. I couldn't believe Marinette was missing this.....but then again, it was my fault.

"Chloe? You ready?" Sabrina motioned to her car. I snapped out of my thoughts and smiled at her.

"Yes."
🐞🐞🐞🐞
We arrived at the hospital, Sabrina holding my shaking hand. We walked up to the front desk and were told she's in room 379.

The elevator ride was quiet. My hands shook in my pockets. Butterflies flew around my stomach and my heart raced.

What is Adrien going to think when I just show up??

The doors opened and Sabrina gently led me out. My heart raced, beginning to beat faster and faster. As we turned a corner, I heard sobs. Adrien?

I walked over to the door, seeing the number was 379. Slowly and as quietly as I could, I opened the door just a little.

"I miss you Mari," Adrien said, a sob escaping his mouth. "It's been 2 weeks. Fall has started. Your favorite season. The leaves have already begun changing, turning red, orange, yellow......." Adrien looked at the window. "I want you to know that if anything happens to you....I'll never be able to live anymore. Your my everything. I need you." I opened the door a little more, staying silent. Sabrina listened from outside, tears springing in her eyes.
