The One Reveal

Marinette POV
My mother spent about 20 minutes getting Adrien to calm down. He ate some bread, and my mama said he could sleep in my room. Luckily I now have a queen sized bed.....so we might have to share. I got rid of the bunk bed about 2 years ago.

I sighed as I grabbed a bowl of pasta for dinner. Adrien said nothing but the occasional "thank you" and "no thank you". Honestly, I had no idea why he couldn't return home, but I had a feeling I should leave it alone. As dinner wrapped up, I heard my phone ring from upstairs. After excusing myself from the table, I jogged up the stairs to see it wasn't my phone lighting up.....but Adriens.

I know I shouldn't snitch, but........the phone rang and I picked up. A confused, angry and almost abusive voice boomed in my ears.

"Adrien where are you?! You filthy brat I need you to come here now!" I immediately hung up, gasping as I did so. The voice was rough.......maybe this person was why Adrien ran away.

For the rest of the night, I stayed upstairs, designing. Adrien came up after I'd been designing for about 45 minutes, sighing sadly. I wanted to say something......but no words left my lips.

"I'm sorry I'm here," Adrien said. I turned to face him, seeing him sit on the floor. "I know that I hurt you.....and probably others. I told your parents. You.....ya really didn't need to lie about what I did........and I told them Chloe shouldn't get all the blame, I'll be talking to the principal on Monday most likely. Honestly I'm shocked you would feel comfortable around me. I don't think I'd be able to forgive me if I were you." His green eyes stated into mine, full of sadness and emptiness. I sighed sadly.

"Adrien, you don't need to be sorry. I'm......getting to the forgiving part. There's no reason you should be so down."

Adrien stared at me, his body relaxing. I sighed and turned off my desk lamp, walking to my bed.

"I'm going to sleep." I said. The warm covers of my bed wrapped around me as I snuggled into my pillow. My eyes closed and I drifted to sleep.

Adrien POV
After Mari went to bed, Sabine came up, letting me know if I wanted to sleep in the bed there was enough space. I have her a smile and politely said yes.....at least I hope I was polite. Anyway, so I took off my shirt underneath my sweat shirt and put just the sweatshirt back on, keeping my shorts on as well.

I slowly and quietly got in the bed next to Mari. Her eyes were closed and het face was in front of mine. She was so peaceful, so calm.....so beautiful. I sighed as my eyes became heavy and I drifted to sleep.

I woke up, my arms wrapped around something warm. My eyes slowly opened to see I was laying on Maris head, her back against my chest. My arm was wrapped around her waist, and her eyes were still closed. Slowly I lifted my arm off her stomach and lifted my head from hers. She was still sleeping peacefully. I sighed as I got up.

Time Skip
Mari is not aware that she was snuggling with Adrien during the night. Right now, Mari and Adrien are heading out into the town, and an Akuma is getting ready to attack.

(Still Adrien POV)
I silently walked through the park across the street from Maris house. I didn't know if she realized we practically slept together for who knows how long?? I sighed just thinking about it. I felt nothing but confusion, heartbreak, anger and sadness, all at once. How could I live with myself?
