Lost or Found?

Marinette POV
I got out my phone and texted my mom, telling her and Papa I was going to the Eiffel Tower to sketch. But really....I was going to see Chat

The sky in Paris was a shimmering blue, clouds dancing across it. All the high schoolers were at the park or walking around town. I tried to avoid them. I didn't want to be mean, but.....tonight I'm going to be with Chat....and only Chat.

I turned into the park, jogging. The Tower was so close.....where Chat would be waiting. I saw Kim and Alix passing a football, Juleka and Rose sitting on a bench and Nathaniel sketching silently. But like I said.....I TRIED to avoid the seniors like me from school.

"Marinette what the hell?!" Chloe screeched, speed walking up to me. Her eyes were shooting daggers at me.

"Leave me alone, Chloe!" I said, trying to walk past her. She blocked the path.

"You told the Principle I did everything?! What about Adrien?! He was bullying you too!" She grabbed my wrists like she used to. I screamed in pain as her nails dug into my skin.

"Chloe stop!" I heard someone say. Kim and Alix were walking over to us....well Alix was skating but still.

"This is none of your business!" Chloe spat. She kept twisting my wrists the closer they got.

"Get any closer, and she's gonna be in real pain!" Chloe yelled. Kim and Alix looked at me.

'Go! I mouthed.

They Kim slowly walked away, Alix skating behind him.

"Now your mine!' Chloe sneered.

"Chloe?" Someone said. She turned to see Sabrina with a shocked look on her face.

"Sabrina! What are-what are you doing here?" Chloe asked, fear on her face and in her eyes.

"I can't believe you Chloe!" Sabrina yelled. "First you blow me off of working on the project, and now I find out it's so you can bully someone!" Sabrina walked over to us and slapped Chloe right across the face.

Chloe released my wrists, falling to the ground. I looked at Sabrina.

"Thank you....but don't tell anyone about this ok?" Tears were beginning to blind me.

"Wait-" Sabrina began, but I ran off. I turned back to see Kim and Alix walking over to Sabrina, pulling her away from the clearly pissed Chloe.

I forgot to go to the Eiffel Tower. I let Chat down. I wanted to go straight home, but I needed to be alone. I ran out of the park, tears streaming down my face.

All I wanted was a perfect night with Chat. No Akuma, no bullies...no nothing.  I slowed down to walking after a few minutes. My breathing was heavy, and my heart pounded. Slowly, I stepped off the pavement and into the road.

The sun was setting below the horizon line, and I couldn't help but wonder if Chat was still waiting for me. I'd talk to him tomorrow, if I saw him or needed to fight with him.

"Marinette, wait!" I paused in the middle of the street, turning to see Sabrina running after me. "I just want to-LOOK OUT!!"
