Guardian

Adrien POV
The healer examined her, his hands gently running over her cuts and bruises.

"I can heal whatever you did to her.....just not what she's done to herself." He said, his voice calm. "Wayzz, grab me the blue and red bottles."

A moment later a small green turtle Kwami appeared, holding the bottles the Healer had asked for. I stared at the Kwami.

"You have a Miraculous?" I asked.

He didn't answer, just gently lifted Maris head and poured a few drop of each liquid into her mouth. As gently as he had lifted it, he placed her head back down on the pillow.

"I don't have a Miraculous, I have all of them. Not only am I a healer, but I heal Kwamis and care and guard the other miraculous's. My name is Master Fu. That Kwami is a turtle named Wayzz." He said. Master Fu walked over to an old music player, then pressed buttons. He lifted it up and brought it to me. There were 5 sections, each a different color, with a circle in the middle.

"The two sides in the middle belong to Ladybug and Chat Noir, or you and Marinette. Red is Ladybug, Black is you.

The Orange section belongs to Volpina, a fox heroine. The Yellow is Queen Bee, Light Green is Turtle, which I have" He lifted his wrist to reveal a turtle bracelet.

I looked into the box and noticed two were missing. "What about the Purple and Blue one?" I asked, pointing at them.

"The Purple one was supposedly lost thousands of years ago. It belongs to Hawkmoth, but obviously it has somehow been found again. The blue one....well it's beholder has been missing for many years and no one knows where she hid it. It's the Peacock Miraculous." He said, looking at me. "Your Kwami knows all this, but you cannot tell anyone else about this.....not even your partner." He said, glancing at Mari before facing me.

"Why?"

"Because Adrien, each of us have a time when we learn about the other Miraculous's in the world. It's not her time yet. Now that you know who she is.....you must guard her life with yours." He stared into my eyes, Wayzz doing the same while sitting on Master Fu's head.

I nodded. We all jumped at the sound of a groan. Mari!

"Return her home, quickly!" Master Fu said, closing the box of Miraculous's. I ran over to Mari then scooped her up in my arms. I walked out the door before disappearing into the night, heading for Maris balcony.

I woke up, the memory fading from my mind. My vision was blurry at first, but after a second my eyes focused on the scene around me. I was laying in Mari's bed again.....my arms wrapped around her stomach....again.

I stared at her sleeping face. Her eyes were shut yet she looked so peaceful. I sighed then leaned in.

"I will be your guardian, M'lady." I whispered into her ear. She stirred lightly but didn't wake up. I placed my head on top of hers as it was when I woke up. Sleep fell upon me and I drifted away to my dreamless sleep.

Marinette POV
I woke up to the sound of the bell to the bakery door. My eyes slowly opened as sunlight streamed in, temporarily blinding me. I started to sit up until I realized something was wrapped around my stomach. I turned to see Adrien lying next to me, sleeping peacefully.

At first I felt fear and confusion, but as I looked at him, all I could feel was love and happiness. My bed was a Queen sized bed....yet we still ended up holding the other.
