3 Nights Ago
Tara Agreste disappeared into the shadows, the screams from her husband calling her slowly fading the farther she ran. She traveled deep within the alley ways of Paris, not even looking back.

Suddenly she turned right and came across a dead end. She sighed and decided to take a break. Tara walked over to the wall and slid her back down it, her palm opening,

The peacock miraculous sat in her hand, faintly flowing from the moonlight. She could almost hear Duusu, her sweet little voice ringing through her ears, as her hands ran over the surface of the pendant. Suddenly she heard sirens.

"She came this way, I assume." Said a voice. Gabriel. Tara found herself literally growling, but at a low sound level. Next to her laid a trashcan about her height when she was standing. She jumped behind it, and pressed her back against the metal.

The pounding feet of a police officer grew closer and she held her breath. They grew closer until they stopped, right next to the trashcan. The officer turned and came face to face with Tara, but only for a minute.

She swept his feet out from under him, making the officer fall to the ground with a small yelp. Quickly she stuffed the pendant in her pocket and ran down the way she had come minutes ago.

The flashing lights were coming from the west, so she went east. Simple as that. She came across many turns, going right, left, left, straight, right, left until she saw an opening that led back into the city. She sighed of quick relief as she stepped out into the street lights, the cool fall night falling upon her.

But the sirens followed her. "Damnit" she mumbled. Quickly she took off in a sprint, her hair-still dyed brown-flying backwards. She turned around and saw police officers in their cars, some stopping to get their guns out and try to shoot her.

Suddenly she found herself entering dark woods. She breath began to slow as she walked, knowing that the police would obviously know she went in their, but they'd have to walk. She had time.

After about ten minutes of walking she was nearing the center of the woods. The sirens were close, yet so far behind her. Her hand was still wrapped around the pendant, which was now cold due to the fall air. Tara sighed, wanting nothing more than to transform into Le Paen, and it broke Tara's heart that she couldn't.

Tara jumped as leaves rustled behind her. She turned and saw nothing, but the sound grew louder. Tara began to sprint, her feet following the pathway. Her heart raced as her legs pumped. With all her might, she squeezed her hand around the miraculous.

Suddenly an arm came yo and hit her in the neck, causing Tara to fall to the ground, out of breath and in pain. He gasped for breath as her vision blurred. The person that knocked her down chucked.

"I'll take this." The girl opened Tara's hand and swiftly removed the peacock miraculous from her hand. She stuffed it in her pocket, then snapped her fingers. Another person lifted Tara off the ground as they went off trail.

Soon a car came into view and the woman pulled out the keys. She pressed a button and the trunk opened. Her thumb pointed at the trunk, signaling the other to out Tara in there.

Tara was dumped in the trunk, her head hitting the bottom with a thump. The light around her went out as she was surrounded by darkness.

"Let.....me.....out.....ple-" Tara went limp, her head falling on the bottom on the trunks floor as she closed her eyes,
