The horde of Beasts were cluttered on the street to the hospital. Me and Naomi decided to hide behind a dumpster, to figure out a plan to sneak by them. There was a side street I noticed, which had a gate that closed, which was right before them. We decided to make a sprint for it and hope they didn't see us.  We ran to the gate, and they were alerted.

"Shit," I whispered, then added, "Naomi you go first." She tried to open the gate but it was locked. FUCK. They were running at us, at least a dozen of them, hissing and growling. "How many bullets do you have?" I asked Naomi.

"About 26 handgun bullets, and five rifle bullets," She answered. I had 30 handgun bullets, and 20 shotgun shells. I pulled out my shotgun, as they inched into the alley way, seeing where we are. Two ran in my direction. I pulled the trigger. The two were sent flying backwards with the boom of the shotgun. Blood splattered everywhere.

"Shit, let me boost you up so you can unlock it, I'll keep them at bay," I told her. More were coming, but I had enough time to get her over. Naomi climbed the gate, and as she was at the top one of those Beasts grabbed me from behind. I elbowed its head, and it fell over. I shot it in the face, sending it's body and head flying in opposite directions. A few more came in my direction as I noticed she jumped down the other side. "Naomi! Hurry!" I yelled at her demanding her to hurry up. I shot one in the legs, making it fly backwards as it fell over one of the Beasts behind it, crushing that one. Another one came up close and personal with me, so I punched it in the face, knocking it backwards. Two of them got back up running towards me, I pulled the trigger on one, killing it instantly, as blood and guts flew all over the walls and pavement. The other one I hit with the end of my shotgun, crushing it's head.

I heard the gate open then heard Naomi shout, "Its open!" I ran to it, and slammed the door shut, not before one grabbed me from beyond the gate, then I heard a gun go off, and the thing fell over on the ground, splattering its blood all over me. Naomi had her rifle pulled out, she shot it.

"Thanks for the save," I thanked Naomi. In front of us were steps that went to the right, which I hoped led around to the hospital. We ran and ran, as we saw no more Beasts afterwards. We came out of the alleyway, and we were directly in front of the hospital, and ahead of the Beasts, they were still looking for us, but didn't see us now. I sighed in relief, as we went to the hospital doors, which were already opened, we stepped inside.
