We both entered the hospital. We looked around in what looked like a reception area. Stuff was thrown everywhere in the entire hospital; like someone tried robbing it. Naomi looked around, then she noticed something up above.
"Oliver, look at this," She told me. I came over and looked up with her with my mouth wide open. I saw each floor, which was exactly ten floors. We looked at the map by the elevators. Some floors were dedicated to the ER, some floors that were a cancer ward... and the top level was the hospital morgue. A creepy feeling came up my spine quickly. I had a shiver and goosebumps wash over me. We went up to the second floor, via stairs, and there was already dead bodies strewn on the stairwell. "What the fuck happened here?" Naomi asked, creeped out looking at the mangled bodies.
"What do you think?" I asked. "Probably dead researchers since these bodies are not that old." I could tell because the decaying only just started setting in it seemed like. Of course it smelt, but it wasn't like it sat there for years. I would say these people only died recently; like not even a week ago. More or less a couple days ago. Naomi was ahead of me going up the last of the steps. We saw a doorway that entered a hallway that went right or left; a usual hospital set up. We came up, and then I heard her scream at the top of her lungs.
"Let go of my fucking leg you fucker!" Naomi screamed at whatever it was. I saw that a Beast grabbed her leg and it was clawing at her trying to bite her. Before it even got a chance, she took her other leg and kicked the vile diseased ridden Beast in the head, crushing it's fucking skull into oblivion. I knew by that display of events, she was able to take care of herself. Well it was obvious. She WAS by herself for three fucking years. I would've gone insane by then. She shook the arm off her leg and just went back to usual business not caring she just got attacked.
"You okay?" I asked her, worryingly.
"Yes," She responded, nodding her head. Her legs had scratches and was dripping blood from the small wounds, but no bites. We looked down both sides of the dusty dark corridor. I saw a sign that said,"ER floor: ER floor 1 of 6." With blood running down the side. The ER had six floors dedicated to it alone according to the map so that was fine.

I checked my watch. 12:32 PM..
We did look around, but there was literally nothing. Literally the entire hospital seemed to be raided. There were no Beasts too; not a peep from anything so far. We were lucky, and I was surprised as well. Maybe the hospital didn't outlive anyone's expectations. The Beasts weren't even here that much from what Naomi told me. The next floor was the cancer ward, which had two floors itself, then the last two floors had the hospital morgue. I was actually shocked that I didn't find one drug in this hospital. When I say raided I mean nothing seemed left besides charts left behind. These floors were raided more than anything I've ever seen. It felt so uncommon because it literally seemed cleaned out to the touch. I had an uneasy feeling about it. It didn't seem right. Someone had been here recently. It was obvious.
We went up to the cancer ward, and instantly I had a sinking feeling in my stomach. I felt dread, as the air seemed to get harder to breathe and seemed more... dense. It was extremely humid in this part of the hospital. It also felt and looked darker as I saw some rooms in this level open and some closed. Not an ounce of light seemed to light up the abysmal darkness. I didn't know if Naomi knew or not at the time, but it had to be obvious for her; with this unnatural level of darkness, there had to be something here. Something... horrible.
She seemed to be focused on something. I didn't know what, but she seemed on higher alert. This entire part of the hospital got darker and felt more fucking malevolent as we continued on. I shot a look at her, and she looked at me back. We both knew what to do and walked around with both of our guns drawn on high alert. We did look around in some rooms. I found a med kit in one, but we still needed a bullet proof vest (which I fucking almost forgot about), another med kit, rags, rope since mine isn't long enough, and take anything else that was useful that we could find. Fuck this hospital felt dreadful, it got hotter and more humid the further we got.
