An hour or so later I was awakened to the sound of a metal door opening. Then the same flickering light was turned on. Was Autumn back to have another one of those talks with me? Because if she was, I wasn't up for it. Fuck her. She's a fucking idiot for having those types of beliefs.
"He's down at the end," Autumn told someone else. Who else was there? Another one of her cunt followers?
"All right," Another voice replied. That sounded like Naomi. Was it her? Or was I delirious? It could't be her. There was no way in hell she found them, especially this fast. There was no way in hell. I started hearing foot steps down the hall. Who was it? Was it really her? The steps came closer and closer. Louder and louder. Then I saw a silouette of a small female. The person stopped then walked towards me. Then I saw it. It was Naomi. How was that possible? I really thought she would've given up on me.
"Oliver?" Naomi asked.
"N-Naomi!" I replied back, smiling for the first time since I got here. Then I added, "What's going on? How'd you get here? How'd you find this place?"
"It's a long story. I met bitch Autumn's girlfriend. She was being attacked by a small horde of Beasts," She explained. Huh, really? I wondered what her girlfriend was like. Was she a dumb ass too? Then Naomi continued, "Long story short I threatened her girlfriend, her name is "Rain" by the way. And she took me here. She told me the truth. I don't know how much you know already, but Autumn shot you. Rain helped." Yeah I kind of knew this already.
"Yeah I had a talk with the cunt earlier, Autumn." I replied. Such a fucking blithering idiot she is. A shit stain of mankind if you will.
"Yeah. Autumn's only giving me ten minutes to talk to you. I will figure out a way to bust you out. Of course I could've come in shooting people, since I'm sure most were defenseless according to Rain and Autumn. But I don't think putting innocent lives at risk would benefit anyone," She articulated. Yeah, I agree. Not their fault the leader was such a slimy, two-faced snake. I know, I hardly knew her, but I could tell. How she holds herself and how she talks... Is very off putting. There was obviously something extremely wrong with her. One way or another we would find out eventually.
"I agree. Do your plan. I'll be rooting for you," I told her.
"How are you holding up anyways?" She asked. Obviously wondering about my gunshot wound in my leg. Big mistake, Autumn, big mistske.
"I'm doing fine. Not broken yet, hurts, but the pain will go away eventually," I replied to her. Then added, "Do you actually fucking believe they don't kill Beasts- even in self defense?"
"It's fucking stupid. They thought you actually brainwashed me into killing them. Dumb asses," She giggled. I laughed a little and looked at her. I grabbed her hand and looked at her.
"Why'd you come back for me?" I asked the only lingering question I had left.
"Because I realized how much more you meant to me than I even realized," She admitted. What was this? An epiphany of feelings? If I wasn't mistaken she rejected me not long ago, and now suddenly she wants me? What the fuck?
Then I heard the same steel door open, then I heard Autumn's unlikable voice call out, "Naomi, times up!"
"Okay!" Naomi yelled, while still holding my hand. Then she whispered, "I've got to go. I love you." Then she walked off back into the darkness.
"I love you too," I whispered back. I wasn't sure if she heard me say it, but I was sure she knew it.
