(Naomi's Perspective)

I got on the horse, and I directed it to the vicinity where the scream came from. Beast's followed suit of me, while the horse galloped faster on the hard pavement. Soon, they were long gone and stopped following.

Eventually I got to the place where the scream was made. An alleyway. I saw a woman in the back of the alley getting surrounded by Beasts too. She seemed defenseless as well. She had brown skin, long black hair, and a thin physique. I had no choice but to save her. It would be wrong in my eyes if I just let her die. And who knows, maybe she could help me find Oliver. There were about half a dozen Beasts cornering her total. She had her fists up, like she was going to punch them. I pulled out my pistol and shot the one closest to me clean in the head. The head exploded like a time bomb of blood and guts. All of the Beasts turned around and came right at me, I had my baseball bat ready. I hit one directly in the head, as the baseball bat's nails stuck in it's skull, I kicked it in the stomach, releasing the bat. One came up from behind me, and grabbed me. I quickly slammed my elbow in it's face. Then I quickly gave it a slap to the face with the bat, this time the skull split open. One came at me, from right in front, as the other two behind it came towards me. I shot the closest one in the stomach, didn't stop it. I shot it again, this time missing, but hitting the other Beast in the eyeball, that one fell down. The one I tried shooting before, I slammed the bat down over it's head as hard as possible, while breaking the bat in half at the same time. Damn bat was useless now. I took the one half of the bat I still had in my hand, and with it being splinted and somewhat sharp, I jabbed the last Beast in the jugular. Blood sprayed out everywhere, and then it fell to the ground.

I looked around for the woman. She was coming out of the alleyway, looking at me like I committed a mass murder. She slowly walked up to me. I had my gun ready in case she tried to do anything weird to me. Not that she really could.

"T-thank you," The lady stuttered. Who was she? Why was she defenseless? Didn't she know she needed at least a handgun to come out here? Especially by herself? What was up with that? The other guy was the same way. Were they part of the same group?

"Just why are you out here, with no weapons? Especially if you're on your own?" I instantly questioned her, ignoring her gratitude. Seriously, what was up with that?

"O-our leader... Doesn't believe in killing Beasts," She enlightened me. What? What leader? Who? What fucking leader would do that? Are they that stupid to let their followers not have any weaponry? And doesn't believe in killing Beasts? What? They are a threat to us!

"Beasts are a threat to us! Why can't you kill them?" I pressed.

"I can't tell you why. Unless you join us then you can find out," She notified me. Why would I join them.. Wait.. Unless they are the ones that kidnapped Oliver!

"Wait.. Did your group take in any people recently?" I questioned.

"Well.. One guy that was with a girl.. Why? O-oh.. You're the girl," She admitted. I fucking knew it. Now I was pissed. She was probably the one that fucking shot him and took him.

"You fucking cunt!" I screamed at her.

"E-excuse me?"

"You fucking took him, didn't you?! You're the one that shot him. You're the one that knocked me out. You're the one that fucking kidnapped him! You fucking whore!" I spat at her, while going more psychotic on her. I was going to kill her. I aimed my gun at her.

"N-no, don't.. P-please!" She stuttered in fear. Why should I give her the freedom to live, after she took him away from me?! That fucking bitch took him away from me.

"Don't fucking beg me! You fucking took him from me! The one true love I had and you fucking took him from me! You're going to fucking PAY!" I yelled as loud as possible. Then I heard loud groaning and hissing coming from behind me. Shit, the Beasts caught up to the sound of the gunshots. Fuck, I had no time for this.

"If you let me lead you the way to our base, we could sit down and talk about it," She tried convincing me. Should I?  Should I trust her?  I don't think I should go; but at the same time Oliver could be there. We could see if we could get him out. If they didn't, there would be hell to pay.

"Okay, okay, fucking fine, get on the horse and show me where this place is. But I refuse to trust you, got it?" I commanded her. Then I added, "On the way there I will ask you a few questions, it's still early in the day so we don't exactly have to rush."

"Fine, since it is a few miles east of here," She muttered. We hopped on the horse and galloped off. I didn't trust her. I had my guard up at all times. If they didn't there would be a war. We could kill people easily. We took down an army of Cannibals after all, and this group of people are nothing compared to the Cannibals, and what they were. One way or another I was going to save Oliver. That was a promise, not a false hope. If they let us go without any problems, then we would go peacefully. Oliver I am coming I am coming for you. Please be safe, I'll be there shortly. I promise.
