Chapter 14
Boys v.s Girls
"So, I was thinking we can go to Sports Fusion after lunch," Tucker said. Me, him, Jacob, Jenny, and Heather were sitting inside Left Bank Books. Apparently I'm a part of their group (yay me!).
"What's that?" I asked. Jacob started laughing hysterically, and he wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me close.
"Sports Fusion has an arcade, dodgeball, basketball, laser tag, and mini golf. All inside," he bumped fists with Tucker, and Jenny scoffed, filing her nails.
"I don't want to go," she muttered.
"Sebastian called earlier and said he would meet us there," Tucker sighed. At this sentence, Jenny smiled and started blushing. Then she stood up, pulling Heather.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!"
"Wait a second. I don't want to go. I have a gym exercise with my personal trainer," Heather grumbled. Tucker gave a pained smile, leaning in close to her, and taking her hands.
"Don't tell me he's looking at you at all," he whispered to her seriously. Wow. He really loves her. Heather started blushing, saying no.
"Come with us. I can give you a better time than him," Tucker smirked. Heather slapped him, but still she leaned into his hug. They were being all lovey-dovey and Jenny was on her phone texting her boyfriend. Me and Jacob were the only people not talking.
I sighed, standing up, grabbing my bag. I felt someone wrap their arms around me from behind, and Jacob's lips met my neck. I shuddered, trying to pull away.
"Boys versus girls. Volleyball," he whispered. I smirked, turning to face him.
"You're on."
