Chapter 15
Sports Fusion"Wow, it's been awhile," Jenny whispered, looking at the entrance sign. I glanced at it, seeing that they have laser tag, miniature golf, rock climbing, and dodgeball. All inside. Can you believe it?
"Let's go, Beautiful," Jacob grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. I groaned as he said 'Beautiful'. It's a good thing this boy hasn't done anything bad, besides that one kiss in his car. Trust me, I'll never like him.
Tucker wrapped his arm around Heather's waist and they walked in first, with Jenny just steps behind them, texting Sebastian. Jacob held me in place for a few minutes, looking into my eyes. Jesus, I never knew blue eyes could be so beautiful....snap out of it, Claire!
He leaned in, and I closed my eyes, expecting another kiss. Instead, I looked like an idiot while he planted a small kiss on my forehead. Fudge. Then he pulled away, laughing.
"Claire, I know you want me. Trust me, later we'll have more time to play around," then he winked. I scoffed, pulling away from his arms and walking into Sports Fusion.
Wow...this is gigantic... I thought. It was a big room, with an arcade on one side, a small food place, mini golf, laser tag, a slide (the blown up ones), rock climbing, dodgeball, basketball, and so much more. Wow.
"Hi, we'd like to play a game of dodgeball," Tucker said, getting his wallet out. The teen girl shook her head, pushing the money back to him.
"That kid over there already paid. Go have fun," she smiled. I turned, and saw a six foot guy our age, setting up the dodgeball on the middle line. Jenny squealed, running towards him.
"Seb!" she laughed as he spun her around in a circle. He put her down, kissing her passionately. Heather looked at Tucker blushing. He did the same, and soon they were an inch apart, about to kiss, when Jacob pushed Tucker away.
"Dude, we came for a game of dodgeball. No way do I want you making out with my sister on the playing field," he said sternly. I giggled quietly, and he turned to face me.
"You thought that was funny?" he questioned. Then I was in a full out laughing fit, and Jacob started tickling me.
"S-stop! J-Jacob, stop!!" I screamed. He finally put me down and I walked over to the
left side of the dodgeball area. It was me, Heather, and Jenny against Jacob, Sebastian, and Tucker."Are you all ready for some Sebastian Sensation?!?" he yelled. Jenny laughed, about to run over to him, when we heard a whistle, telling us the game was starting.
Everyone ran to the line where the balls were, and we grabbed as many as we could, like our life depended on it. Tucker was the first to throw one, and it almost hit Jenny. She got him back by swinging the ball as high as she could, and it hit him in the stomach. Tucker groaned, falling to the ground.
"Man...down..." he whispered, clutching his t-shirt.
"Get off the court, Watson!" Heather screamed. He scrambled off, pretending to be scared, and sat in the couches off to the side.
"Ok, Jenny, you took my man down. That means you're next!" Jacob took a yellow dodgeball, and threw it at her. She ducked, and it hit Heather in the face.
"Ooof," she mumbled, falling down. I ran over to her, calling a time out.
"Girl, are you ok?" Jenny asked, bending down next to her. I held Heather's back as she tried to sit up.
"Yeah. But my face hurts," she whispered. We led her off the court, and she limped over to Tucker. He pulled her in close, already icing her head. They looked so cute together!
"Curse you, Jacob," I yelled, about to throw the ball. But then I got an idea. I strutted to where he was standing. Nobody is allowed to pass the line to the other side, so I was almost past it. His team had no balls to throw. So basically, I can just throw it at Jacob. But I need to add a little fun to it.
"You look so lonely on this side. All you have is Sebastian," I whispered, my hand softly brushing his cheek. He gulped, face turning red.
"I think I'm ready for that kiss. Are you?"
"Yeah....sure," Jacob smirked, pulling me closer. With my lips on his neck, I quietly whispered,
"You. Are. Out," then I hit him with the ball. I heard Jenny and Heather laughing, and Tucker and Sebastian were yelling.
"Dude, you totally fell for that!" Tucker laughed. I curtsied on the court, smirking at Jacob. He looked confused. Then his face turned dark.
"You've just earned yourself a punishment, Claire," he murmured, kissing my neck lightly. I gasped quietly, knees starting to shake. Then he grinned, the darkness gone.
"When we're alone, you'll get more than a hug," then he patted my back, going to sit with Tucker and Heather.
Soon I got out (Sebastian hit my hip) and Jenny was the only girl while Sebastian was the only boy. I could tell that this game was gonna go on forever, because he purposely tried not to hit her. She did the same.
Oh well. But what am I gonna do about Jacob?
