Toriel's POV:

I woke up in my bed with a yawn, stretching my legs. I rubbed me right eye lazily, looking to the side. Sans wasn't in our bed, which was strange, very. He usually never wakes up before me, and then he wakes up almost an hour later. I made the bed neat again slowly but surely, waking out of the room.

But before I could, I was stopped. Some sort of presence was lingering around my stomach. It wasn't the baby, nor was it my rumbles. The feeling went all around my bump, buckling together like a seatbelt. Then I realised, it was hands. Bony hands. Just before I could grab them, the hands twisted me around and chucked me onto the bed, leaving me in a giggling mess. "Sans! How dare you!" I laughed playfully.

Sans was still latched around my belly, and he squeezed me tightly. "What? It's not my fault I'm a master stealth ninja." He said spookily. "Anyways, I wanted to congratulate you, you're halfway between starting your pregnancy and giving birth!" He exclaimed happily. I squealed in happiness, which sounded like a scared squeal because of his hands around me. I kissed him on the nose behind me, before unbuckling his arms around me.

"Oh my goodness! I am! Thank you so much Sans!" I said blissfully, cuddling him. "Why should you thank me? You're the one carrying our child." Sans replied sarcastically. "Oh! You underestimate yourself too much!" I said happily, hugging him. Then Sans looked at me with a almost shocked face. "Hey Tori, are you alright? You look like you didn't get much sleep." He whispered slowly. I chuckled.

"Hey, just be lucky you didn't have to pee a hundred times in the night." I replied, looking at the ceiling. Sans looked like he wanted to say something, but I wasn't finished. "And constantly being kept awake by shuffles, kicks, feet pains, stomach pains and stomach rumbles." I finished with a smile on top. We laughed quietly, before my stomach growled. "Yeah, we should probably get some food." Sans said, patting my stomach. I nodded and let go of the adorable skeleton, watching him stumble out the room clumsily.

I sat up in the silent room, rubbing my stomach up and down. I eventually joined him for breakfast, with my mum and dad. "Good morning dear!" Mum said, she kissed me on the cheek, and noticed I was eyeing the foods she was concocting. She gave a small laugh. "Hey, I made pancakes." Dad said, gesturing to the round circle on the frying pan. I grabbed a plate and walked to the table, sitting next to Sans and giving him a peck on the cheek.

"Wow, you're hungry." Sans whispered, looking at the many fruits and sauces I was applying to the flat batter on my plate. "Well, since I've had this baby inside me for four and a half months, I feel like I know it so much already. Depending on how it kicks, or how my stomach rumbles I can tell how hungry it is." I said scientifically. He nodded an dug into his breakfast.

I received a text from Mettaton, congratulating me for going halfway and something else. "Oh, Sans? Mettaton asks if you've told your brother about the fact he can come round to his place any time." I said, looking at my phone. He sighed ad buried his face in the table. "Just tell Mettaton that Papy has no interest in him." Sans groaned. I smiled an told Mettaton that Papyrus is free to invite.

We ate our food and ran upstairs, dressing for the day. I sat on the bed, reading my book. Sans's hands crawled on my shoulders again, eventually stopping on top of my belly. I turned around an smiled. "Hey T, can I hear the baby?" Sans asked. "I don't see why not." I smirked, putting my book down and shuffling into a comfortable position. Sans put where his ear should be against my stomach, and closed his eyes. Then, we both heard something strange.

Sans bolted his ear away, staring at my stomach in shock. "W-what was that?" He said, his pupils being close to disappearing. "Sans! I th-think the... baby just hiccuped!" I said between giggles. We both smiled. "That happens often." I chuckled, calming down. "Yeah, bit I've never heard it before." Sans replied, hugging me. We hugged tightly before he fell asleep in my arms.

"I'm glad you approve..." Was the lat thing I said before I fell asleep too.
