Sans' POV:

"Finally." I sighed, placing the tools down on the wavy grass. I had just finished building a tree house for my kids, and I heard a noise from behind me. "Sansy, dinner is ready." Toriel looked up at what I had made. "Wow. I didn't think it was going to be that big." She smiled. "I try." I called back as I walked back in the house. Max rushed past me and into a side room off of the kitchen. "Wat'cha need bud?" I asked, trying to find him in between the different boxes.

"Just a few things Daddy." He was running off again, holding several sheets of cardboard. He tripped over the carpet and fell flat, but he was sponged by the cardboard. I picked him up and smiled. "Not as fast." I reminded him. He shuffled his way out of my arms and shifted away. "Sans dear, I need you to look at this." Toriel called out from the computer room. I walked over to find Tori flickering through papers. "What's that?" I asked. She looked up and smirked. "It's emails from Papyrus, but they all came out through the printer." She laughed a little at what happened. "It's the turns out him and a few friends have invited us to a party. It's good. I don't see many of my friends anymore." She said.

We read through all the details and decided we'd talk about it later. I ate my dinner in deep thought and went back out to the garden. Max had already found himself in the treehouse, and was reading silently. I climbed up the ladder, admittedly with a bit of force, and Max noticed me immediately. "Daddy look! I'm reading a book on stars that Mommy gave me!" He smiled with slef-pride. "Yeah, they are starting to come out." I said softly. The only source of stargazing was through a big window in the front of the treehouse, but you still got an amazing view.

Max found himself snuggling up against me, while I protectively shielded him with my legs. "Dad look at that one, it's look like the one in the book!" He cried. Yeah, it did. It was a big shiny star, standing out from the others. I squeezed him a bit tighter as we went on through the book.

Yeah, it felt good to be a dad.
