Sans's POV:
I walked into the blank corridor, looking for my usual, blue locker. My maths lesson was in 10 minutes, and I didn't want to be late. I deposited my belongings and shut the door lazily, sighing. When I stumbled into the classroom, not many people were there. I sat down in a two-seated desk and pulled out my textbooks. Then, something strange happened.
A girl sat next to me, smiling warmly. And this girl, was none other, than Toriel Dreemurr. "Could I sit here?" She asked softly. Her voice was like angels that played harps to the sound of a heavenly choir. "I don't see why not." I replied casually. Then I looked at her with a confused face. "Aren't you gonna sit with Asgore?" I asked.
Toriel and Asgore have been together for a while now, being boyfriend and girlfriend. Asgore is usually a bit of a bully, which scares Toriel slightly. Girls like muscly, strong men, who can show off their biceps proudly and pick up unsuspecting prey with utter ease. Toriel even tried to break up with him once, but she soon fell back into his arms. In my opinion, I don't think she deserves him. Then, while I was deep in thought, Toriel answered. "Oh, Asgore's in another class." She said, digging out her books from her leather handbag.
The teacher entered and told us what we were supposed to do for our lesson. I excelled at maths, since my deceased father was a scientist, and dealt with numbers a lot. Toriel was also great at numbers, which was what we were going for. When the lesson ended, my heart sank as she tucked in her chair. She walked to the door where Asgore was waiting, but she stopped. She walked back over to me and smiled, her ruby red eyes glimmering in the sunlight. "Thank you for being my partner. Also, I didn't catch your name." She spoke. I looked up. "I didn't throw it." I confidently said. She covered her muzzle to block a small giggle before I opened my mouth again. "The name's Sans." I whispered to her before she nodded and left the classroom.
My heart sank like a deflated ballon.
