How? How is Jess here? How was Justine able to bring her back? Why would she bring her back? When did she come back exactly? All I could do was stare at her, trying to memorize every detail of her beautiful face after Gabriel and Justine left. It was my fault she had died in the first place. I turned away and tore myself away from Jess.
"Sam? What's going on in that head of yours?" Jess asked me.
"I... I got you killed. I... I could have stopped it. I KNEW it was gonna happen Jess. I saw it happen for days before it really happened." I said sitting on the edge of the bed and putting my head in my hands.
Jess walked over and knelt in front of me. She reached up and took my hands in hers and held them.
"You were trying to protect me. You didn't want me to be afraid. I understand that. I don't blame you for what happened. I am here now. Let's leave the past in the past." Jess said.
"I can't do that yet. I know it's been years, but just seeing you again makes the guilt double. I can't lose you a second time. I won't be able to handle that. It will literally kill me." I said.
"Then let's take baby steps. I've been back for a while. I've been training at Bobby's house and going on hunts with Justine. I was on a hunt when you and Dean showed up at Bobby's so Justine told me not to come back yet, and the time wasn't right anyways." Jess said.
"Damn it. I didn't want you to get involved in any of this. It's a hard life. One that even I don't want to be a part of, but I don't have a choice. You do Jess, you have a choice." I tried to reason with her.
"And I made that choice. I chose you Sam Winchester. I chose this life because I can't live life without you." Jess said.
"Alright. Alright. I get it. I do. I love you, Jessica Lee Moore." I said sincerely.
I bent my head down and kissed her. Then the door burst open and Chuck was being held up by Dean and Cas.
"What the hell happened?" I boomed.
"Amara, she is killing me. She did something and now I am dying." Chuck said weakly.
"We need, oh hey Jessica, wait you were dead. Whatever. We need Justine and Gabriel here now." Dean said.
"Gabriel, please get your feathery ass to this damned motel NOW, and bring Justine with you. It's an emergency." I prayed to Gabriel.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Gabriel yelled appearing with Justine.
"Chuck is dying. We need to stop Amara." Cas said.
"Wait a second, Dad is dying?" Gabriel asked.
"Yes Gabriel. Can't you feel it? His power is wavering." Justine mumbled walking over to Chuck and laying her hand on his forehead.
There was a spark of electricity and Justine jumped back with a yelp.
"Well I guess I won't be helping much." Justine mumbled.
"It's must be because you are the anti-christ. There must be something that repels you from touching God." I mused.
"That would make sense," Cas said, "and you can only touch angels because I created demons."
"Whoa, I was pretty sure that Lucifer created demons." I exclaimed.
"Hello Sam, nice to see you in the flesh again." Cas said.
"Dean, what did you guys do?" Gabriel asked.
"Uh... Cas mighta gone into the pit when we found out that Amara was back. Lucifer did have the mark once and he could possibly help us." Dean explained.
"SON OF A BITCH!" I yelled, "You didn't think you should ask me first? I mean, I was trapped inside my own body with freaking Satan, in case you forgot. Did you think of how this would affect me after the hallucinations?"
"Sam I was trying to think of the big picture. No I didn't think of that, but we needed him. Do you think I like seeing Lucifer in my boyfriends body? No! It's freaking weird. Just work with me on this." Dean yelled back at me.
"Alright, how about we all calm down." Justine said.
"And someone explain this whole situation to the two of us. We have no idea what is going on." Jess said.
"Well I have an idea of what is going on, but not completely." Justine said to Jess which caused her to roll her eyes.
"Okay, here is the basic run down of everything. I was originally chosen to lead a demon army, we stopped the demon who was trying to get me to do that. Then I apparently was destined to be Lucifer's vessel and Dean was to be Michael's vessel. Our brother Adam somehow was able to be Michael's vessel instead, yes Justine we had another brother, I did become Lucifer's vessel and I jumped into the cage. I somehow got out, we are all still very confused on the details of how. Then was the whole ordeal with Cas and the war among the angels. Then the Leviathans and Purgatory. And now here we are with this new situation." I explained.
"Okay. And now Cas's body is holding Lucifer?" Jess asked looking at Cas/Lucifer warily.
"Yes." Dean said annoyed.
"Okay," Justine said, "now that we are all up to speed, what do we do now?"
"So you've decided to use only the demon abilities?" Chuck said to Justine.
Hold up. ONLY the demon abilities? She had more abilities than just the demon ones? Then I realized what was going on. She wasn't the anti-christ. Yeah she was part demon, but yellow eyes wasn't her 'mother'. She was Lucifer's daughter somehow. Her mom must've been Lucifer's vessel at one point and no one knew.
"Yes Sam. Her mother was my first vessel. I did get out undetected for about a year or two twenty one years ago." Lucifer said through Cas's mouth.
"Son of a bitch." Justine said running at Lucifer.
She didn't get very far because I jumped up from where I was sitting and held her back. As much as I wanted Lucifer dead for good, I didn't want my baby sister to get hurt.
"LET ME GO! Let me go!" Justine screamed clawing at my arms.
Thankfully I was wearing a flannel. Then all of a sudden everyone but Lucifer and Chuck were stuck against the wall.
"Ah, now we are getting somewhere darling. Good. Use that anger that you feel and use it." Lucifer egged her on.
"Jus, Justine. Fight it. Fight the anger. Don't let it, consume, you." I choked out struggling against the hold she had over me.
"You don't need anger... You have family to guide you." Dean struggled to say.
"You have me." Gabriel struggled as well.
Slowly we were lowered to the ground, then we all collapsed to our hands and knees while catching our breaths. Then for the second time today Justine passed out.
"Great. Here we go again. Why does she keep passing out?" Dean grumbled.
"Because she isn't used to using her capabilities," Lucifer sighed, "I expected her to be stronger than this."
The next thing I knew Dean had an angel blade pressed to Lucifer's throat.
"Dean, you kill Lucifer, you kill Cas." Jess said.
Dean turned around and walked over to me.
"Damn it. I want him dead. I want Lucifer dead with his head on a stake." he whispered to me.
"I know. I want him dead too, man. I really do," I said putting my hand on his shoulder, "We'll figure it out. We always do."
"I don't know if you are going to be right this time, Sammy." Dean said.
Then there was another knock on the door. I grabbed my gun and opened the door. Again, I was shocked to see the person that stood there. I threw my arms around her then stepping back so she could come in.
"Hey bitches." she said.
"You were dead." Dean whispered.
"I know." she replied.
